No, I meant what I said:  Rapp/Hamlin/Johnson is a significant step up from Bishop/Hamlin/Lewis right now.

We hope that eventually, we see Rapp/Bishop/Johnson but that isn't where we are.

Not many would say this or agree.  I don't agree or disagree. Both are a lot different and I'd have to put some thought into it.

Worse.  Chris Brown screaming "The Stallion has gone Tasmanian" every time he gains three yards.

I mean I just had those terms in their voices run through my head. Thanks to you, and I blame you.

Speaking of the schedule, something just dawned on me. The Bills are facing all 4 participants in the prior season's championship games (Chiefs, Ravens, 49ers, and Lions). Has that ever happened before?

Couldn’t happen before 17 game season but since then I think it’s pretty likely anytime the 4 teams were division winners.

oh GOD - hopefully Chris Brown doesn’t get wind of this.

The Stallion has galloped into the end zone and he's drinking from the troth.

We need to run the ball well early and often.

Or have a QB sent from the heavens with the arm of Zeus!

https://www.nbcsports.com/nfl/profootballtalk/rumor-mill/news/amari-cooper-definitely-ready-for-an-increased-role-with-bills

Wide receiver Amari Cooper made a positive impact in limited playing time during his Bills debut last Sunday and he’s hoping for more in his second time out.

Cooper caught four passes for 66 yards and a touchdown in Buffalo’s 34-10 win over the Titans while playing 19 offensive snaps. This will be his first full week with the team since arriving in a trade with Cleveland and Cooper said he is prepared to take on a bigger role against the Seahawks this weekend.

“Yeah, of course,” Cooper said. “I think that’s why they traded for me. Definitely ready for an increased role, definitely ready for more opportunities and I’m ready to pounce on it.”

All of Cooper’s catches came in the second half last week, which suggests he was still acclimating himself to his new surroundings days after joining the Bills. It’s a good bet he’ll get more to do in every part of the game this time around.

imo, just adding Taron Johnson instead of Lewis is enough of an upgrade that it makes Rapp vs Bishop irrelevant.

Because he’s an undersized linebacker who gets hurt in ways that only an undersized linebacker would? He’s like Milano in that way. Here for a good time not a long time.

Reminds me of my fifth ex wife

We are ranked 20th in Total Defense, 20th in Rushing Defense 132.9 YPG, 4TD's, 17th in Pass Defense 209.1 YPG.  Since McD is a defensive master-mind, must make for an interesting discussion with ownership.

WOW

This was years ago during the drought... you have to be able to laugh about it now.

this feels like something to be concerned about for sunday.  The crowd noise, potential rain and Josh's recent running out of the pocket a little early is a little nerve wracking.  The running game being excellent will fix that but it won't be fun if its 3rd and 7+ all day.

Also I am surprised no one in the Buffalo media is talking about this but Leslie Frazier is the assistant head coach in Seattle.  Not sure what he does there since they have coordinators (not a really an impressive group there) and they are running the head coaches defense.

Another thing that appears to be an issue with Seattle is their special teams have been bad.  I did not realize Jim Harbaugh's son Jay is the special teams coach until today.  I hate the harbaughs.  Beating a harbaugh family member will makes this game if they win twice as enjoyable.

also number 58 looks pretty good.

Great post Mike. Thank you.

Awful nickname. His style of play doesn't evoke a stallion to me.

Eric Dickerson is a stallion. Derrick Henry is a stallion.

Guys that gallop are stallions.

Ray doesn't gallop.

Maybe the best uniform set ever worn in the NFL.  The colors are fantastic

That's going way overboard. I think most teams have better throwbacks than those.

why could it not happen before 17 game season?

you would just need both out of conference teams that were in conference title game the year before to be from the same division.

Very infrequent yes, but not impossible.

Our Defense is ranked #10

This is points allowed , primary metric for team D.

Honestly, we've given up tons of garbage time yards.
