Trump is blathering out the stupid lie that Harris will cancel cows or something and @Irv won't be able to get a big mac. But It's that idiot Trump that wants to round up all the Catholics working in the meat packing plants. He wants to impose vegan diets on us through higher beef prices.

@Tommy Callahan already says there too many plumber, I bet he wants to round up the roofers, carpenters, truck drives, agricultural workers working hard to make a living so we can have a whiter country, forget that all those good and services we will lose and the higher prices, but whatever, we don't have to have "Illegal people" here

Yeah me too.  But Irv probably left us off the list because his mind wandered again and again to Arnold Palmer’s man meat.

Criminals..   pretty simple.

All immigration should be vetted.  Like every other developed nation does.  Like we did for 200+years.

And we’ll probably keep on getting the ones who are smarter, work harder, and do way less meth than MAGA.

Posted right here.  Would have taken the same time to look, as make that moronic and lazy comment.  But then again. That seems to be your limit.

News to me.

We didn't have any real immigration restrictions until about 100 years ago.

The first major immigration law in the United States was the Naturalization Act of 1790, which established the country's first naturalization process:

Eligibility: Limited citizenship to white immigrants who had lived in the U.S. for at least two years, and their children under 21

Requirements: Applicants had to demonstrate good moral character and swear allegiance to the Constitution

Citizenship for children: Children born abroad to U.S. citizens were also granted citizenship

Other major immigration laws include:

Immigration Act of 1882: Established the first federal immigration bureaucracy, and restricted immigration to certain classes of people

Immigration Act of 1864: Enforced contracts for immigrant labor formed abroad by U.S. courts

Steerage Act of 1819: Required the captain of any ship arriving in the United States to deliver a passenger manifest to a federal official

Asians harassed then banned post civil war.

Tibs, stop projecting.  If it's possible.

We are all immigrants.  We just were not paid to come and went though the port of calls.

Come on.  You’re an immigrant?  A product of immigrants, no doubt, but an actual immigrant?  No way.  That would require such things as a work ethic and smarts.  I’ll leave it there.
