In fact, there are 53 players on each team, as well as coaches. All contribute to a team's success and failure. Here we have KC at 6-0, and Buffalo at 5-2. Allen has 15 TD's and no INT's. Patrick Mahomes LEADS THE LEAGUE IN INT's. And people will still say "Mahomes wins more than Allen," as though we're talking about tennis or golf. Clearly, Mahomes has the best coaching in the league - and they're proving that by an undefeated season when they have lost their top 2 WR's and top RB, and w/ their QB having a fairly pedestrian season. Allen often has to actually overcome some of his team's coaching blunders. It's rare that coaching helps him out & wins a game even when he's not at his best. That happens quite a bit w/ Mahomes. It’s never that simple. Part of what you said is true but it’s more than just coaching. I think Mahomes has shown that despite his stats, he’s still the best QB and best player in the NFL. It’s not close. So while his stats aren’t the best, he’s made a ton of plays already this season. For all of Josh’s great numbers there have been multiple games this season where he’s played very poorly - namely Houston. To say that it’s all coaching, is oversimplifying and somewhat scapegoating the issue. I feel that you are overlooking the Kansas City who has often been overshadowed for their entire run. Not only are they coached well but they have two All Pro’s in Jones and McDuffie and some other very talent surrounding them. Classic example of excellent drafting and development. 10 hours ago, 8BallSippin said: KC has a better HC, and in a game of inches, in a game where one situational play wins or loses.... McDermott is outmatched. That is the difference. McDermott’s beaten Reid the past three seasons. Two of those wins were one possession games. Is that not a game of inches? 10 hours ago, Matt_In_NH said: They would win much more than one game, what is your point? The Steelers won a bunch with him, he won a bunch with Chicago, above 500 and got his team to the playoffs twice. You think the Bills would not win a single game? Delusional......... “Won a bunch of games” Mitch’s record with Pittsburgh was 3-4 1

Dr.Sack
I’m wondering why Lamar isn’t considered the best QB in the NFL given his 2 MVPs and near flawless record vs NFC 23-1. The NFL would love an annual Mahomes vs Lamar Super Bowl.

Three more than your zero. Point stands, they could not possibly win one game?
