Purdy wilts in big moments. Shanahan's curse is that he never gets the benefit of above average QB play.

Could not care less about their offense. It's their defense that is carrying that team and giving them additional advantages is the huge break. Eventually the 49ers D will wear down since their offense can't move the ball.

You also have to wonder why if you have a QB with a concussion history you don't sign a quality backup? They could have had Minshew or Tyrod but decided Thompson is who they wanted to go with

I bet they’re glad they paid Aiyuk a fortune. It seems like any marginal talent who demands money gets their wish in today’s NFL. Good for them.
