947 Posted October 19 Posted October 19 I saw the game a few weeks ago when Levis got hurt & Rudolph came in. Rudolph looked like he was definitely better for a drive, then showed that he's not very good either. McD's Defense has allowed some bad QBs to look like stars- so who knows, Kenny Pickett & Zach Wilson come to mind.... Rudolph has a really weak arm, so we have no need to play the usual 2-high Safety prevent & allow him to look competent throwing to wide open guys underneath, but I don't know if I trust McD not to do that. 1 Quote
WhitewalkerInPhilly Posted October 19 Posted October 19 Bad News: Rudolph doesn't make the same number of boneheaded throws that Levis does. Good News: Rudolph is still pretty bad Better news: Rudolph is probably still traumatized from the last time he came to Buffalo https://youtu.be/bSJi0iuzBHE?si=9dikdrVb81TaOy5X 6 minutes ago, HOUSE said: That Titan fan must be pumped Fixed it for you 😛 2 Quote
frostbitmic Posted October 19 Posted October 19 Great, now the Titians are going to kill us ... Never mind, I can't even convince myself of that one. The team should be up playing at home for the first time in a month and It's a game we should dismantle them, but I have the feeling they hang in there until late and give us a lot of grief. Quote

YoloinOhio Posted October 19 Posted October 19 Why do I have no recollection of him playing the Bills last year in the playoffs. 1 Quote

I was also surprised by that revelation. My memory is worse than I thought... My only memory of Rudolph is Myles Garrett smashing a helmet over his head. Edited October 19 by MJS 2 Quote

BuffaloBillies Posted October 19 Posted October 19 At least Rudy can't run like Levis. Sitting duck back there. 3 2 Quote
HappyDays Posted October 19 Posted October 19 (edited) Meh. Middling arm strength, inaccurate. Threw a bunch of interceptable passes against us in the wildcard round. Higher floor than Levis but lower ceiling too. Pretty much a lateral move. Edited October 19 by HappyDays 2 1 Quote
K D Posted October 19 Posted October 19 Rudolph is much better than Josh Allen. Chris Trepasso had Rudolph as QB1 in the 2018 draft. Guys, we made a huge mistake! 1 Quote

The only one I can recall was early in the 2022 season at home and we blew them out (95 yard Gabe Davis TD on the opening drive) Quote

ProcessImproverMan Posted October 19 Posted October 19 No excuses for the Bills defense to look bad this week. We need a statement two to three score win with our defense looking dominant and the scoreboard reflecting that. Time for McDermott to coach up. A career backup should not hang 20 on us this week and we should win if coaching is good Quote

Rudolph's arm is weak so you're right we can creep our safeties up. I'd play more man coverage and see how Mason reacts? Quote
