The entire watch community exists because people are brainwashed. It's a watch, it tells time lol. I made likely 6 figures flipping watches over the years to jokers like you. I don't do it anymore as I make that per transaction in my current business but it was easy money for a while. As you mentioned, the movements can be made in China for pennies on the dollar now. It's all a farce. Real estate and land (especially farm land) is where it's at. Something useful that's in limited supply. If economies collapse, nobody will care if your watch has a swiss movement. Expand It's really not anymore silly than any other limited edition watch. It's worth whatever other people are willing to pay for it. The prices fluctuate so much that you might find some dummy selling a watch for $5k because that's what he paid for it back in the day but you know people are now paying $10k. It's all silly. 1 1 1
