MJS Posted October 18 Posted October 18 Josh Allen currently has 56 rushing TDs, 3rd all-time in Bills history behind OJ Simpson and Thurman Thomas. If he scores one more, he'll be tied for 2nd with OJ at 57. He only needs 9 more to tie Thurman Thomas. Josh Allen will likely pass both of them at some point and have the most rushing TDs in Bills history. And if he can manage 60 more passing TDs in his career (likely), he'll have both the most passing TDs and rushing TDs in Bills history. Pretty incredible. 8 2 14 Quote

A stat that’s not mentioned enough. Quote

0017 Posted October 18 Posted October 18 Let’s hope he breaks Thomas’s record Sunday!! 10 is not out of the question for JA17! Quote
MJS Posted October 18 Author Posted October 18 Josh Allen is also 7th in rushing yards with 3,789. It is pretty possible that he could finish his career 3rd behind OJ and Thurman. He just needs to pass Fred Jackson at 5,646. McCoy, Henry, and Cribbs are the other players ahead of him. Quote
Rubes Posted October 18 Posted October 18 Hard to overstate how incredible this guy is at this game. 1 1 Quote

He’s going to start breaking so many team records. We’re going to look back and realize how lucky we were to have Josh as QB in Buffalo. 1 1 Quote

Honestly, we should win at least a couple. In terms of how good he is. But he still needs the players around him. 1 Quote

kitchen sink Posted October 19 Posted October 19 (edited) Through his first six seasons Josh has averaged 8.83 rushing TDs per year. For 2024 he is on pace for 8.5 TDs. If he hits 8 for 2024, then he only needs to average 3 per year for the next 5 years to be at 76 (he would be 33 years of age). If he gets no more rushing TDs in 2024, he needs to average 4 per year for the next 5 years to be at 76. Barring a career ending injury, and based on the way he approaches the game, I think it is more likely than not that he ends his career as the all time leader. EmotionallyUnstable Posted October 19 Posted October 19 There used to be a thread on yards, and where he stood league wide. Idk what happened to it Quote
Doc Posted October 19 Posted October 19 (edited) On a side note and instead of dragging up the "Josh (already) has the most TDs by a player in his first 7 seasons" thread, Josh now has more total TDs per game than Mahomes, if you count his first game as half of one since he entered it about 4 minutes into the 3rd quarter. Crazy considering how his college career went, as well as his first 2 seasons in the NFL. Edited October 19 by Doc Quote
