Process Posted October 23 Posted October 23 Not sure but Benford, Bernard and Shakir are all ahead of him on my priority list. Quote

When Von first joined the team, he and Groot played on the same side and it was said Groot would have to learn the other side because rushing the RT was where Von has made his bread and butter. What I was reading also listed Von’s stats from the past 5 years (prior to joining the Bills) and something like 88% of his production was from the defensive left. Showed how the Rams tried to initially use him on the right, going against LTs, but then he gravitated back to the left like when he was a Bronco and spent almost all his time there. The stats are out there on Rousseau as well, maybe someone else knows where to find them. 1 Quote

He's ok but I would make him play 2025 and earn a long term deal. I'm 60/40 at this point trying to keep him or let him walk. He's not even close to a premier edge rusher but he is a solid starter. He's the best one we got Quote

Or do you just go based on sack numbers? Yes, sack numbers, also pro bowls/all pro selections, Dominant performances in playoff games, amount of blockers he commands, etc. Quote

You can pay him that much on the tag for one year and see if he continues to develop, Beane has had some success at getting guys to sign for less than top dollar - Oliver, DQ, Milano, Brown all come to mind. Then again he has overspent on Diggs, Bass, Knox, and Miller. Quote
ChronicAndKnuckles Posted October 24 Posted October 24 He’s worth 18 million a year, but some team is gonna over pay 1 Quote
Big Blitz Posted October 24 Posted October 24 Going to need him to show out vs good to great OTs much more consistently. Would pay 15-18 mill per but more then that I’m sorry but we need more against the top teams. He’s on pace for 8 sacks. 20 sacks total for his career. He doesn’t warrant double teams in pass pro. That’s not elite DE money. But he’s an elite complimentary DE if there was like a peak Miller opposite him. I love him. But it’s reality we can’t keep devoting big percentages of defense to the cap on guys that are mid. 2 Quote
