I said earlier (tongue in cheek) that they could afford to sit him against the Titans. But no-brainer to get him in there since they can beat the Titans at home with or without him.

Can we now stop beating up on McD or naah ?

As long as Damar Hamlin is starting at Safety, there’s still fodder for the cannon.

But in all seriousness, who thought he wouldn’t play?  Even as a decoy/limited package.. we only have 4 WR’s / 5 total .. and shouldn’t just waste a call up because we released MVS immediately.

Which is a fair question. But I was referring to the posters in here who were getting outraged for something that hadn't happened yet (delaying Cooper seeing the field)

Nah he’s bungled too many end of half / end of game situations.

On the very first play of the game have Cooper run a deep route.... and launch one to Keon on the other side of the field!

If Cooper gets open on any given play, the ball should be his....effective immediately

Cooper unlocking Keon (if he’s ready to step up to WR2 with the opponents defense preoccupied with Cooper) is probably the second most exciting part of this trade.

And would be the most impactful in terms of us getting to where we want to go.

Keon making single coverage plays down the field like he did at FSU would completely change the ceiling of this offense.

If McDermott can hang some level of misinformation or will he do something or not for a game he might as well be a ground hog and the Titans DC will just have to see if he sees his shadow on the day of.

Gotta imagine if he plays it will be in a significantly reduced role. I can see him getting maybe 30% of the snaps

Have him run deep post, go route and slants all game.

Allen and Diggs was pretty much  "just get open"

you can bet Allen is excited to have a legit WR who often creates separation, but can also go up and get it.    Diggs only did the one.  Cooper does both
