The Helmet of Posted October 18 Posted October 18 Rattler had two lost fumbles, one of which was returned for a TD. He was sacked six times. If he’s being mentored by Derrick Carr then have fun this year, NO… Quote

msw2112 Posted October 18 Posted October 18 The Sabres stinker at Columbus or this horrible NFL game? Which was the lesser of two evils? At least the Yankees-Cleveland baseball game was a classic (even though I'm a Yankees fan and they lost). I live in the West, so even though these games started earlier and at different times, buy the time I got home from work and had a chance to start watching sports, I had these three options on "DVR delay" (plus the Mets-Dodgers, but I can't do more than 3). Fortunately, I made the right choice and spent the majority of the time on the Yankees game. For the Sabres, I just kept fast forwarding until they got back into the game, and every time they did, Columbus scored within about 15 seconds to knock them back out of it. My thumb is sore from its excessive use on the fast-forward button. I'm hoping for a little better out of college football on Saturday and the Bills on Sunday. That said, if the Bills have a Broncos-style blowout, I won't be complaining. Quote
HansLanda Posted October 18 Posted October 18 It's still crazy to me Denver scored 33 with only two rushing TDs and no passing TDs on offense. Quote

Denver has the same feel of the 2015 Broncos- stodgy defense that gets takeaways, and an efficient offense that runs the ball and doesn't cede turnovers. I don't think they will recreate that championship 2015 magic of course, but the team is playing the same game. If Nix continues to progress, the Broncos could be back. I've always felt John Allen's first championship will come this way, not having to play hero ball as you'd expect, but rather letting other players do their jobs. I still believe McDermott's lack of competence in pivotal situation footballs will be what hold us back, but who knows maybe we get a bounce here of there... Quote
