The funny part is, they run his column in the Buffalo News sometimes, but I don't think they ran the ones where he whined about the Bills new stadium. They also didn't cry when the Yankees & Mets got new stadiums in 2009. The interesting part was that the roof had a service life significantly lower than it's age & should have been replaced by now. It will now get replaced by insurance money On 10/18/2024 at 5:50 PM, Saxum said: Would not be a bad idea to turn it into a flea market like what is done with the Aloha bowl stadium during days no game or game preparations. DCofNC Posted October 20, 2024 Posted October 20, 2024 This is the first time I’ve ever thought the Browns were smarter than the Bills. Open air in this climate is stupid. 1 1 1 2 1 1 Quote

They'll build a soft football team. Only three teams who've played their home games in a dome have won the Super Bowl. The Rams twice, the Colts, and the Saints. So that's 4 of 59 Super Bowl winners. This graph is a few years old so it doesn't account for the Chiefs, Eagles, and 49ers. The teams that play outdoors in the cold are overly represented when it comes to Super Bowl appearances while teams that play in enclosed stadiums are underrepresented. Teams that play with average temperatures below 40 degrees are the most successful. I'm somewhat of a hypocrite though because I watch all these snow games by a fireplace in my living room. 2 1 Quote

And their unexpected cost adjustments will take it to well over $3 Billion. I like the glass roof but the rest looks goofy. 2 Quote

That is a pretty interesting stat. i guess my view is we have a QB in his prime that is absolutely deadly in indoor stadiums. So let’s build him one! 1 Quote

I wonder how expensive it's gonna be in the future to retrofit our new stadium with some kind of roof. Hell, ND State plays in a domed stadium in Fargo. I think the Buffalo Bills can afford it. Quote

I've been saying the Bills will come back to the state and ask for money to add a cover to the new Highmark in three years. Why? Because that's how things are done here The dumbest, most expensive way. 1 1 Quote

May Day 10 Posted March 19 Posted March 19 Is Cleveland known as the city of triangles or something? Did the designing firm of the stadium have some sort of bonus structure based on the number of triangles crobarred into the design? In my opinion, the stadium is super ugly. That triagular wall that just has that corporate logo on it is gross. Reminds me of the giant pointless blue wall around the Sabres' arena. Quote
ddaryl Posted March 19 Posted March 19 LMFAO $2.4 Billion proposed for a Dome stadium.. The Bills are well over $2 Billion without the dome. Now add in Tariffs for all the construction material or the increased cost of construction materials be made in the USA and you will be LUCKY if the final price of this proposed dome ends up at $4 Billion.
