HappyDays
Same FG% as Bass last year and also missed 3 PATs... So probably not going to be anything more than change for the sake of change, but at least they're trying. Maybe his confidence isn't totally shot like Bass. 1 3 1
wjag
His stats don’t make it look any better. And those previous stats are for a dome kicker?

SoCal Deek
When I read who they released to ‘make room on the roster’ I generally find myself saying….WHO?

ColoradoBills
Just knowing he is on the PS may get Bass to get "his mind right".
Andrew Son
To me it makes the most sense to trade. Move Bass and some draft capital to a bad team with a good kicker. That way we move the salary and the rebuilding team gets some draft capital. Kicker is too important to mess around like this.

Yobogoya!
I feel like it used to be easier to find a serviceable kicker in a pinch. We picked up Dan Carpenter off the scrap heap and he went on to have a few good years for us.
BillsFooteball
Definitely needed to do something but what am I missing with this guy. I feel like he’s brought in to tell us see bass isn’t so bad after all.

I think that's the only reason for signing a guy this undistinguished. Ironically, I think a meek guy like Bass would benefit much more mentally from the team assuring him that they won't cut him, so just go out there and let 'er rip without overthinking every kick. 1

When other teams are making 59 yard FGs to beat you need a better option than Bass.

Buffalo Boy
You know what this pick is? A quintessential WTF Beene pick! Churn the bottom of the roster. Pretend like you are doing something while actually not doing a bleeping thing. 1 5 1 2

They can always upgrade the PS kicker. As to Bass, they gave him the "assurance" during the off season and up until now. Meek or not, he has to get it right or he is not long for the team.
