So here we all are in America a country that was once thought by many & a lot of other countries to be the absolute best in the entire world, and although i would still rather be here than in any other country on the globe where & when did America start on the down hill trend and what were some of the things that sent it down that hill ?

Use to be people could agree to disagree and still get along as Americans first, and for the most part they were immigrants that wanted to assimilate into this country & actually become a American first . We had people with their nationality being Irish, African, Polish, Jewish, back grounds or heritage but it wanted to become American first and today it is anything but .

Today It is African American, or Mexican American , or Irish American, what ever happened to being or becoming a American first & fore most ? It also use to be that folks would work for their benefits like health care, or vacations, or a better life style in general or what ever, now it's just expected that every one should have the best there is no matter if your a scum bag that fleeces the system & lies about your health condition or if you work 3 jobs, every body must get the American Entitlement trophy .

Was it way back when when Woodrow Wilson signed the Federal reserve act ? Was it when the Unions got way to greedy while saying they were looking out for their people ? Was it when people realized if they made enough noise they could get more or as much as the guy that busted his ass & not have to work for it ? Was it when Madalyn Murray O'Hair complained about her child having to read the bible in school only to have it made lessor of the American upbringing ?

Was it when the American gov't tried to and pushed their ideals of democracy on the American Indians, Mexicans, and others and stole their land then much later pushed Iran, Iraq, Korea, Vietnam, Afghanistan, and others to make them live how America thought they should live .

Then did the exact same thing to the American people in trying to make them think they couldn't think or do for them selves, and that the all mighty gov't was much smarter than all of us so they started to (behind the scenes) plan to show us all how they thought we should live & act & that if we didn't play the game the way they wanted us to they would impose things on us and then showed us by letting certain people in power be done away with if they didn't play along to which their is a long list of .

I just know that every bad turn in our country as far as it's interior division among the people, it's entitlement mentality, it's out & out ego that we are the best, and it's bad management when it comes to nearly everything the gov't puts their hands on from the national budget /deficit to parenting to our sexual orientation they screw up but there are those that continue to believe that the gov't knows best .

I'm not sure the exact moment that the heading down hill started but i feel that when ever & how ever it happened our gov't had it's hands all in it and we just keep on giving them free rain over all that we do as a people . We are not the America that use to stand up & fight for what we believe in and have turned into a bunch of whiners because the people have found out the squeaky wheel gets the grease .

And it's easier to B**CH about something until you get it rather than work for it & show others that the better things in life can be had by hard work and devoting our selves to being a better more understanding/patient/loving people . And i myself have even fallen into that category i guess i am just self reflecting a little bit on some of my faults that continue to make our country just a little bit less than what it once was .

Can it still be fixed ? I think if we all were all to put America First & fore most as it use to be a long long time ago it could be done !! End of the mind dump !!!

2008 financial crisis was Great Depression 2 we just didn’t have bread lines.

The subsequent election of an anti American communist in 2008 in Barrack Obama.

PRISM, Google, Big Tech getting in bed with Democrats and the intelligence community in 2016 after Trump won.

By 2019 we recovered from the Depression 2.0 but the Branch Covidians changed the world in ways they haven’t even begun to comprehend yet.  All of it horrific.

Unprecedented government spending.

Refusing to shrink government.

Inflation soars.

Importing the third world to replace American labor.  Out sourcing American jobs overseas.

The Democrats abandoning all American principles bc Orange Man Bad.

The erosion of our Judeo-Christian heritage for the cult of LGBYTEFOMDEUDJQ+

—The end summarized

But then Elon took over Twitter.

The counter culture to the woke is rising.

We can continue to right the ship in 19 days.

But it won’t get any easier after that.

2008 we finally had a black president and it was supposed to be a unifying moment for our country and we could move past slavery and all of the evils of the past. And then the financial crisis and they BAILED OUT WALL STREET because they were "too big to fail." That is not true. Big companies fail and then new companies come in, that's how it works. They were too big to fail for Obama and he didn't want to look bad so in a feeble attempt to save the economy for political reasons they gave away billions of dollars to bankers to keep making bad decisions with no consequences. That's not capitalism.

Also instead of unifying the country, Michelle Obama took the opportunity to turn this country woke. Everyone is racist was the message. Oh really, don't we have a black family in the white house? How racist can we be? Because of the Obama's we got Trump. And because of Trump, the Left went completely cuckoo for cocoa puffs and they are so far gone that I don't think it's ever going to come back.

Thanks Obama!

This can’t be emphasized enough

They duped women to believing they had to leave the home to work - nothing wrong with that - but it became more important then raising a family.

Good job libs.  Nice work.

There are many points, throughout history, when the American dream had been chipped away at…

One of the first times, and maybe the beginning, of the end of the American dream, came in 1913, when our government sold out America’s economic sovereignty to billionaire globalists, with the signing of the Federal Reserve Act…

After his presidency, Woodrow Wilson would go on to say it was his biggest regret of his time in office…

Our country is so great now. We have improved, a lot. Use to be a black person would get murdered just for trying to vote. Husband were basically allowed to beat the crap out of their wives and nothing would be done about it. People would be killed for attempting to organize. Gays were told they were just insane people. The government used War on Drugs to destroyed so many lives.

So much opportunity, so much freedom, its big, its beautiful and there is a reason so many hard working immigrants want to come here. Ronald Reagan brought Gorbachev around and showed how so many regular Americans owned their own boats, had time off to enjoy themselves and were happy. Women are respected here, immigrants come here, open businesses and become some of the wealthiest people on earth, we have overcome in a large way the very worst of racism with the Civil Rights Act, though we still have more racism than we should. People, at least for now, have a say in their own government here.

These immigrants that brave the long journey here to a new land, get the lowest paying jobs at first, and move up the social-economic ladder should inspire those who, for what ever reason, can't make it in the best country in the world and turn to drugs, guns, alcohol and a cult to band aid over their problems.

People complaining about this country should maybe go somewhere else.

Back then immigrants went though port of calls and didn't receive financial benefits apon arrival.

Your boy just ended title 9.  Tell us more about women being respected.  Shoot.  You guys want to federalize everything.  Overriding the tens of millions of women's votes at the state and local level.

If it's so amazing. Why is Harris running on changing it.

She won't even own her current term.

It started when unskilled wages went down due to global competition.  That was an inevitable and slow process.  Protectionism doesn't work.  We need to compete on the world stage.  Sometime around the dawning of the last generation, the expectation that future generations would do better than previous generations became unrealistic especially for the unskilled.  They got angry.  A demagogue told them he could fix it and to hate global competition and here we are.

So your plan is to compete with Chinese slave labor? We have all of the resources and land we need right here, F the world. If you want American jobs then make American products for Americans and stop importing from countries that don't have labor laws or environmental constraints.

Want to see prices increase?  Follow your plan.   Fast food prices are an easy example. Remarkably, people complaining about inflation are more concerned with prices than wages  And no, we don't have all the resources we need right here.  Otherwise geopolitics wouldn't be a thing.  As it is, it's a huge thing and the reason behind many global conflicts.  Mine is not a plan.  It's simple reality.

Along with this our colleges and universities are producing millions of degreed professionals armed with degrees in useless disciplines without any hard and marketable skills while being crushed by thousands in debt.

Which in turn results in the need for businesses to import engineers  scientists, medical professionals, researchers, and computer science grads.

true.  we need to compete more effectively at all levels.  We have become complacent and entitled.

We over the past 15-20 years have changed from being more and more meritocratic  and now we have gone back to the beliefs of the 1920's where surface attributes matter. Tibs laments the points that we used to judge people based on their skin color, but now he does it also.

Where is your proof?

Jim Crow laws are gone, that's my proof.

Jim crow went away in the 60s, so obviously you believe that since 1970 the country has been perfect?

We both can agree that ending Jim Crow made this country much better, correct?
