The first 3 games that's what they did some 9 different players got targets & then the 2 losses they didn't go that route only to lose, so maybe it is BS but it worked for a minute & it is better than being a offense with only a couple of players that you focus on .

And your doing you ...

yeah who did they play those first 3 games? Oh yeah nobody. Yeah i will do me you do you.

And Aaron Rodgers is not Tom Brady. He doesn't possess that drive. He is a man baby who points fingers at everyone but himself. Even his press conference at the end on Monday was embarrassing. I don't see any way he holds that team together to win 8 of 11. He is part of the problem in Jersey not part of the solution.

For me this takes the Bills from "no shot" at a Superbowl this year to "outside chance." There are still at least six teams I'd have above them in the pecking order, but if the Cooper can get up to speed and give the Bills some semblance of a vertical passing game back then on their day I think they can beat any team.

Yes. Aaron Rodgers is all the talent of Tom  Brady (possibly more) without any of the mental acuity to be the best in the game: even Mahomes with distractions like his dumbass brother has handled ***** better than Rodgers

This division will be tighter than we think, so this Cooper trade will help with that as well.

I think the Bills are firmly a better team than the Jets, but I looked at the Jets remaining schedule and it is a cake walk. Where the Bills schedule gets super tough later in November

IMO the Bills have three really tough games and the Jets have two, including us. And we've got a two-game lead and the tie-break.

I don't think the division will be any tighter than that looks.

I'm happy with the Cooper acquisition, but the Browns player I really want is Myles Garrett.  The Bills continue to struggle in rushing the QB except against weak O lines when the other team has to pass, and none of the Bills on the roster seem to be able to threaten consistently.  Cleveland is going nowhere as long as Watson is their QB, so they might as well not waste more years of Garrett's career and get draft capital for him.

The Jets have demonstrated the ability to lose to anyone.  The Bills lost road games to two powerful teams, and actually had a decent chance to win the second game.  Unless injuries really set in, the Bills should win the AFCE by two or three games.

Myles Garrett isn't getting out of Cleveland without at least two 1st round picks. The Khalil Mack trade Vegas to Chicago was two firsts, a third and a 6th for Mack, a second and a 7th. And Garrett is a better player than Mack ever was.

If the playoffs are all but guaranteed, given the state of the AFC East, then I do believe Cooper moves the needle on the likelihood of a playoff win.

I think people are going to be shocked at how good Miller plays when he comes back. Back to elite pass rusher level.

It's more likely he'll return to his pre-suspension form: a pass-rushing specialist who comes in on third and long and can generate some heat. I'll take that.

If the Bills are incrementally better everywhere than they've been this year, via getting back key players back and adding a few more--that's all they should need to be SB contenders. We're seeing it happen already with the emergence of Davis, the addition of Cooper, and the return of Taron and Bernard. If they stay healthy and add just two more pieces--a safety and a kicker--they're as good as anyone in the league.

It's probably too much to ask that Bishop will develop into a starter or that Beane will trade for a quality safety. But it's critical that they have a reliable kicker, one way or another. That has to be their focus.

The Browns can take a qb next year at the top of the draft. sit him behind watson or another vet and get out of watsons contract the year after. They can do this without losing garrett

Apologies for the awkward title.

I love the cooper trade. It will make the games more fun to watch. Having said that I felt the Bills were going to win the AFCE without Cooper. And we we would bow out of the playoffs in the divisional round.

Adding Cooper does not move the dial on those expectations.

But I don’t think Beane would make this trade unless he thought the dial will be moved.  And the main thing I see they could move this dial is a return to 2022 form for Von Miller after he returns from his suspension. That plus cooper definitely would up my expectations.

Not to mention the return of Matt Milano.  I agree that we could be hitting our stride, just in time for the playoffs.  Go Bills!!

Huh?  He already was starting to show a return to form by recording a sack in each of the first 3 games...have you bothered watching any of the games?

After the Jets get destroyed in Pittsburgh this weekend, and the Bills beat a bad Titans team at home, the Jets will be 3.5 games behind the Bills.  And they still have to play the Bills in OP.  They aren’t winning the AFCE.

Well, good point, and Miller definitely seemed to be on that trajectory in his first games of the season, overall.

But I do think Cooper 'moves the dial' in the playoffs too, whether or not Miller continues to progress. Although that does not mean I think he makes them a true contender if the safety issue is not fixed.

It wasn't looking tough before.  The Bills already have beaten the Dols and Jets on the road and have home games which they would have won anyway.  The Pats are just terrible and will be featuring a rookie QB.  This just puts more distance between the Bills and the rest of the division.

Beat the Dolphins and Jets at home and I think we win.

I hope you're right, but It's a long season my friend let's let the games play out.

Teams get hot, teams get cold, injuries happen.

As bills fans, we witness all of that^ every year

I'm not on this train yet for two reasons - McDermott and Bass.  The former needs to prove himself capable of making sound decisions late in close games.  The later needs to get his head on straight or be replaced.

We all laugh but the kicker IMO is one of the most critical pieces to a playoff roster.  These games are close and it's therefore extremely important to convert PATs and make 45+ yard field goals - often in adverse January conditions.

Yeah it is worrying to have un-clutch coaches and an un-clutch kicker. Combined it feels like an almost impossible to overcome handicap when you have to win multiple consecutive sudden death games against quality opponents.

There are no cakewalk teams for these Jets.  Their Offense just stinks.  Steelers D is legit.  Colts, too.  Cardinals will give them trouble too.   Maybe they could handle a completely washed up Stafford.  Rodgers v Stafford would be a painful watch.

My hope is they start looking like they did from the second half of the Cardinals game through Jags game, but against basically all styles of defense, because they now have an answer to win on the outside in press man, single high when the middle of the field is shut off...and not just have an answer, but a receiver that can absolutely torch you for making that mistake.

Oliver will be key to your/our hopes in this regard. There’s no money left in the piggy bank so nothing else is going to happen to shore up our run D. I don’t ‘think’ Milano will be much of a factor should he even return. Daquan says he never got comfortable following his return from that injury. It just sucks that Oliver is either a gotta have Game wrecker or invisible. It’s always been ‘him’..

They had the worst WR room in the NFL. They added a WR that has been to the Pro Bowl 5 times. Even if Cooper isn’t as good as Diggs was, the Bills are WAY better today than they were yesterday morning.

“Moving the dial” is so hard to pinpoint. He may make 2 plays this year that Hollins or MVS wouldn’t have made that result in a win or 2 extra. That changes seeding, home field and potentially a playoff outcome. You took your biggest weakness and elevated it to average. We should all be excited about this. Is it enough? No one knows. Are they better? Unequivocally yes.

yup - those handful of plays may be inconsequential or they may come at massive moments… but we are more equipped to make big plays, and less likely to blow plays now.
