Heading back to Buffalo for the UB Bulls game on Saturday then the Bills on Sunday. It’ll be the first time I’m on the UB campus since I graduated in 94 lol. Anyway, any recommendations on a good pub/bar in williamsville or Amherst for good buffalo food and would take a reservation for a big group (like 16). Before the 3:30 game so basically a late lunch? Elmo’s , and get the hot Cajun double dip on the pit. 1 Quote
HOUSE Posted October 17 Posted October 17 Certainly you know where DUFFS is?? It's only a half mile from UB You know, been there since the 40s White building, big red letters, small parking lot. Just look for Walgreens and it's across the street. 1 Quote

If you’re looking to feed people wings that’s probably your best bet but it’ll be tough to accommodate that many. Just had a party there. Place is huge. Theres an upstairs room too. Highly recommend Edited October 17 by MarkyMannn 1 Quote

Great suggestions right here too! 53 minutes ago, HOUSE said: Certainly you know where DUFFS is?? Only problem with that one is the vibe. Small, no TVs, bar etc but if you’re just looking to pound some wings it’s great!!! 2 Quote
JP51 Posted October 17 Posted October 17 UB Game... right down Millersport out of the UB Complex cross over NForest and on the right in a plaza is Elmos awesome wings.... 1 Quote

Not so sure if they do reservations but all large enough to accommodate with Buffalo style eats. 14 hours ago, billsfan_34 said: Wingnutz also. Really can’t beat the location of Wingnutz or Elmo’s to UB. Not sure about Elmo’s, but Wingnutz easily has the room to accommodate 16. I would not bother with Amherst Ale House unless you want to sit in small groups at 3 or 4 different tables. Edited October 17 by BarleyNY Quote

Traditional Duff's wings + more. Quote
Augie Posted October 17 Posted October 17 Everything is close together and easy to get to in WNY………. if you live in Atlanta. Quote

You want pasta, they got it. Steak, yes. Seafood, of course. Burgers, yep. Salad/vegan, done. Everything to satisfy everyone in your group. 1 1 1 1 Quote
Bermuda Triangle Posted October 17 Posted October 17 New York Beer Project is maybe 10 minutes down Millersport from UB. For a group of 16, this might be a good option. 2 Quote
Big Turk Posted October 17 Posted October 17 (edited) Amherst Ale House has always been good NYBP is also really good if you want to drive a few more minutes. Edited October 17 by Big Turk 1 Quote

BuffaloBaumer Posted October 17 Posted October 17 Britesmith is the call for sure. Great options, large enough to accommodate, great view of the roaring creek there, huge beer selection. Quote
