Beane is asleep, wake him up!

One thing I'm positive of. Beane isn't asleep. Not like he called in sick today either.

With his history nof making trades on the final day (and sometimes the final minutes) of the deadline...he's working on something for sure.

Now if it comes to fruition or not is a whole nother conversation.

Good news... KC was reportedly in on him. Finally a big trade went to the NFC.

Plus the BILLS play the NFCS next year. NO and Carolina going thru major rebuilds. TB will be at Buffalo. Bills play at ATL which should be a tough game but BillsMafia will have a strong turnout in ATL. On paper sets us nicely.

I’d expect there’s a reasonable chance we land Sebastian Joseph-Day especially since we had him for a visit back in the spring

Quinton Jefferson got cut by the Browns, he had some small success with us in 2020, I wonder if we'd pursue him as a rental player? Granted he's not a NT but definitely give us some push up the middle.

That would be a really nice addition.  I know I will probably get flamed for this, but if it's true that Parsons might be available, that would be the perfect fit for the Bills. He's a linebacker by nature, and not the 3-4 rush type, but was used as a DE by Dallas out of desperation.  Seems like he would fit that Hybrid Lorenzo Alexander role.  Might be able to add the pop we need to our push rush, and help solve our run def woes.

He will not help the run defense at all.

He is an issue off the field with his immaturity and his stupid podcast.

I’d like to see some combination of Chase Young, Sebastian Joseph-Day, Darius Slayton, Jadeveon Clowney and Budda Baker. Ideally, I’d like 2 but that’s tight to the cap unless we have a player(s) going out.

I'll even go Dalvin Tomlinson if I can't get Simmons or SJD

Yeah he makes sense as a short-term replacement for Smoot, since he has that inside-outside flex. I just don't think he is very good, but I could see it happening.
