Getting knocked off in the playoffs every year shouldn't be the standard we're happy with. 1 1 Quote
ALLinALLEN Posted November 5 Posted November 5 No trade that’s been made today has me jealous. Not sure what the uproar is. 1 1 Quote
stlbills13 Posted November 5 Posted November 5 Overall it was a quiet deadline. I know the NFL deadline is never too big but this was quieter than usual. Quote

stlbills13 Posted November 5 Posted November 5 We'll go as far as McD's defense takes us as always Quote

No gratitude, only criticism. I think people come here to rant and rave. I come here for the entertainment of watching them rant and rave. And then I just watch the game and accept that I am a fan and cannot control the outcome. I sleep well at night. 1 1 1 Quote
The Firebaugh Kid Posted November 5 Posted November 5 I am going to assume that this means that these injuries are not that serious. At the end of the day it’s all about being as healthy as possible for the tournament 1 Quote

Good organization treats players right. I was hoping Calais Campbell would ask the Dolphins to release him or trade to the Bills (not likely for within the same division). He played hard Sunday but mingled with Bills player unusual amount DURING the game in between plays, including talking to Allen a number of times. Quote
f0neguy Posted November 5 Posted November 5 The playoffs are always a war of attrition. The last few seasons we’ve been the team that was beat up. If Milano, Benford, Cooper, Coleman, Smoot, and others can get (and stay) healthy for the end of the season I like our chances. We’ve almost got the East locked up already so we get at least one home game. I don’t get the doom and gloom.. Quote

We need a "ability to play above scheme" guy to push us over the top. And we know no one is going to trade such guy in prime year at the trade deadline. other than Rasul Douglas last year.... 1 Quote

TFBillsfan Posted November 5 Posted November 5 Now that the trade deadline has come and gone, let’s all hope Benford, Cooper, Smoot, Carter, Coleman and Milano will be good to go once they return. Would be nice to go to battle in the playoffs with healthy players! Find a way to beat Indy! 4 minutes ago, SoonerBillsFan said: The Lions game is going to possibly be very ugly. Um because with all due respect we have seen this story before...Allen trying to overcome McDermott's defense. Right now we can't reliably stop the run or rush the passer. We can limit big plays which is important. Bills D has legitimately been great in one playoff game - Bills Ravens 2020 season. Best hope is to draw Bengals as the 6th seed and hope to avoid Chargers or Ravens in the second round. In Allen we must trust! 1 1 Quote

Pete Posted November 5 Posted November 5 (edited) I don’t like we stood around while Baltimore, Pittsburgh, Washington, Lions, KC got better. Bills have hard time stopping RBs while healthy. Smoot and Carter are on IR. Toohill hurt his knee. Packers ate $22 million and traded Preston Smith for 7th. Za’Darius for a 6th. we have plenty of picks, we could use either player, and they would fit under our cap Edited November 5 by Pete 1 Quote

We did nothing against Baltimore and they ran us out of the stadium. But it is what it is. 1 1 Quote
