The one I'm waiting for.

We seem to have at least a couple of roster spots to fill with Edwards cut and Smoot to DL

Don’t hold your breath. There is little cap room for a move today

Cap is fluid and can be changed

That would be a really nice addition.  I know I will probably get flamed for this, but if it's true that Parsons might be available, that would be the perfect fit for the Bills. He's a linebacker by nature, and not the 3-4 rush type, but was used as a DE by Dallas out of desperation.  Seems like he would fit that Hybrid Lorenzo Alexander role.  Might be able to add the pop we need to our push rush, and help solve our run def woes.

Cowboys already accepted his club option for 2025, not sure we want to give him $21m next season as may have other needs to go after in free agency/use the money we get back for taking Diggs' hit this season especially with key guys from the 2020 nfl draft about to become free themselves.

We now have two open roster spots with Edwards being released and Smoot going to IR. I would think Ankou will get one of the openings, he has earned it IMO. That leaves one left to hopefully fill through a trade.

Do we dust off the old Hopkins thread?

In my opinion, I guy like that is worth the money.  He's an all-around elite football player.  Seems like a perfect chess piece for McD.

man if they could find a way to get simmons for a reasonable pick and fit his money under the cap that would be kind of amazing.  Seems impossible.

To me, he would be the single biggest difference maker that could even possibly be available.

Isn't he hurt?  Big name but not sure he's currently the same guy

DL and S are the #1 and #2 needs IMO.  Simmons would absolutely transform this entire defense.  We have zero pass rush on the interior and our run D has been abysmal.

He will not help the run defense at all.

He is an issue off the field with his immaturity and his stupid podcast.

I wouldn't want him as a traditional end like the Cowboys are using him. I would want him in that joker/Alexander role.

He has an elbow injury that needs surgery after the season.  I guess he said if he played baseball he would need tommy john.

Bumps and bruises, but he is 27 years old and he is still definitely that guy. I think he had a sack with a forced fumble this week for the Titans.

I guess that’s why I saw him all wrapped up on that side.

Titans would need to eat $$ but I’d give a 2 & 4 for him.  He does have an elbow issue though.

unfortunately by the end of the day there could be 3 spots depening on Coleman's status

I mean cap notwithstanding you would probably have to do a 2nd and two mid rounders to get it done for Simmons. Is it worth it? Yea I think so. Oliver is solid but not a difference maker
