I love fat guys (let's call it what it is) in pro sports. Not so many around anymore. Used to be pretty common in baseball at least.

he's not fat...he's chubby, just ask his mom

5’11” 243 is a ton of power. And after he gets a good years worth of wings he can moonlight as our version of Patrick Ricard. Love it.

OK...let's see what happens...that's a big 'ol boy right there... 5' 11" 243 lbs...his nickname was "The Thicker Kicker".

Pretty solid stats at Mizzou, that's a solid D1 program...

Another guy with a huge leg and poor accuracy.

I think elite leg strength is overrated if you can’t control it. Rian Lindell didn’t have a super powerful leg, he was just accurate and consistent.

It's not like we don't have experience cutting kickers who went on to have long careers.  We originally had Gary Anderson and Dustin Hopkins.  Would be nice if we were on the receiving end of that for once.

Didn't Anderson miss kicks on purpose to work his way off the team?
