OK, how does one cheat as a color commentator/owner?  Flesh that comment out for me...

I think the thought is... media would give him access to players he shouldn't have etc.  Opportunities to tamper.

But If I'm him, i just avoid all of that stuff, watch some film instead, maybe walk around on the field during warm ups and chat players up.  Make a cool 300 million to be fairly bad at my job and slowly buy more and more of the raiders.

Give one of the leagues biggest known cheaters back door access to all the teams and media, what could possibly go wrong

Let's be real here. Not the first time he's cheated and likely not the first time he has had "back door access"

hardly restrictive......While Brady physically can't go to production meetings or practices,  there’s nothing preventing him from sending his minions/assistants and colleagues with his questions and/or tapping into his own network of resources via reaching out to executives, players, coaches or other staff on his own.

He is specifically restricted from this.

Why would any team give up valuable info to his "minions"?  That makes no sense.

These color guys never get any meaningful info at these weekday visits.  It's as much of a joke as "sideline reporting" or those coach interviews as they head off the field for halftime.

Watching you explain how there is no possible way Brady has, could or would ever cheat is like owning a time machine stuck on the “annoying” setting.

i agree with ya.....no team is giving up "valuable" info to anyone at anytime. those sideline reports usually reveal nothing.....but having said that, things slip out on occasion......just recently, coach tomlin was mum on wilson starting....then same day, wr pickens confirmed wilson is starting.

Brady has a confirmed multi decade span of knowingly and purposefully cheating / flouting regulations to gain benefits from those actions, what in the world makes anyone think he has suddenly become an honest person who will follow the rules of his current circumstances in the business of football, considering that he never has done so in his football career?  It’s about information gained from behind the scenes activities, I wouldn’t have thought this was so hard for you to conceptualize, oh well, anyways, I ‘m done chatting about this with you, nuthin but luv,

On to other more rewarding topics lol,

That was my initial reaction when it was first announced that Brady was going to be a minority owner of the Raiders. I suppose, given it's just commentating... poorly at that... FOX can just not put him and Burkhardt on Raida's games. I mean, inexplicably they are FOX's #1 crew... it's not like they would have been doing Raiders' crapfests anyway. 🤷‍♂️

I think I mostly agree with this.  I think it would be poor judgment on the part of Fox Network to assign him to games where the Raiders are playing.  The only part with which I disagree is the comment about Brady being part of the #1 crew.  The reason for that is obvious: name recognition and the size of his contract.  Regardless of his ability as a color commentator, everybody knows who he is, and Fox is paying out big money for that reality.  Whether or not it represents good judgment on the part of Fox is another discussion.

Exactly - and why would a team give him any level of competitive advantage.  I think the only thing you'd have concerns with is tampering but... there's some pretty steep sanctions for doing that. Dolphins lost a 2023 1st round pick for tampering with brady under contract.  And it usually comes out because the team that had a player tampered with will find out and raise hell.
