LOL pretty sure someone send these to Dion. In any case, he needs to let this go. Why give another team this extra incentive the next time they play? 1 Quote

One of the jets players straight up cursed out a ref to his face which will be the one they remember from that game Quote

He's certainly a top 10 LT, if not top 5 range. Unselfish and great leader. Horrible troll job. Maybe go back to the kitchen/your food threads, that's more your realm. 2 Quote

During commercial breaks or the end of the quarter when the teams switched sides both teams got together a few times, and things got heated. I thought a fight was going to break out as the refs had to separate a bunch of players. There is definitely bad blood between the teams. Quote
stevewin Posted October 16 Posted October 16 (edited) There doesn't appear to be any love lost between a lot of Bills and Jets players. One of my favorite points of the game was after the Knox TD, Josh ran over to Knox on the sideline and a Jet player went over to say something and Josh just started laugh-screaming at the him while the guy tried to follow and say something - until Spencer Brown came over and bumped the guy and stopped him dead in his tracks Edited October 16 by stevewin 1 1 Quote

Big Turk Posted October 16 Posted October 16 It's rare to see these days in the era where players are friends no matter how big the rivalry is and hang out off the court, etc... Could you imagine Larry Bird and Magic Johnson hanging out in the offseason or Michael Jordan hanging out with Isaiah Thomas? A different era back then. 5 hours ago, IBTG81 said: He grew up in Rahway. North Jersey. Everything is legal in New Jersey. Quote
Saint Doug Posted October 17 Posted October 17 I absolute LOVE this. Where’s him putting Rodgers into a Camel Clutch or Suplex? 1 Quote
rusty shackleford Posted October 17 Posted October 17 I bet Dawkins called the Jets guy a jabroni to draw the unsportsmanlike penalty. Quote

Why give another team this extra incentive the next time they play? My guy, they carried over a disagreement/argument from LAST SEASON into this week. I don't think this adds any fuel. The hatred is already there and well beyond squelching over a root beer post-game. FWIW, this kind of stuff is what the modern NFL lacks. Not the silly tweets (which are great BTW), the open, publicly aired, hatred of your opponent. SO often these days it's all polished with platitudes galore. Very rarely do we actually see people who genuinely dislike each other and are unafraid to say it. The league needs this back again. I'm already looking forward to Jets/Bills part 2. I'd much rather hear about THIS in an hourlong pre-game show than have an in-studio kumbaya over Aaron Rodgers....again. Give me a break down, tale of the tape. Go through the whole backstory of it. Interview the guys, get them to talk about WHY they hate each other so much. Hell, re-incarnate Mean Gene Oakerlund and do WWF style promos with them all. How amazing would that be? For thos of you too young or cultured to know what a Mean Gene promo is enjoy this, but imagine NFL players instead. XD Macho Man really did have the best ones. YattaOkasan Posted October 17 Posted October 17 Joe Marino mentioned in his snap count segment that Dion AND Brown were off the field on the kneel downs (iOL starters were in). Hope he doesn’t get the PFs but I love these two tackles. They set a tone! Quote
BigDingus Posted October 17 Posted October 17 I love Dion's Jets hate. It makes those games more entertaining, and it's fun to have a LT who's becoming a household name. Quote
