MVS not signed by anyone else. Says a lot

He's been terrible for quite some time.

Both he and Claypool should have played their last downs in the league.  They both squandered their talent, in my opinion.

For shame...

In case anyone is still interested.  Even the Chiefs didn't take him back.

So Saints tag line is now "Who drop dat"

Yeah I’m with you. Cutting him is needed now, but before the Cooper trade, they could’ve at least used him more down the field. I really don’t get this coaching staff.

Well there is the times that i don't get them but they usually have a good reason & seeing as i'm a bus driver & not a NFL coach that has devoted most of my entire life to learning & playing or teaching the game i'll put my faith in them that they are seeing something that i don't .

I do know that when he was with the Chiefs he had some pretty significant drops that was in part why he was released by them & i don't know if he has been picked up by another team just like the other WR that was with the Fins last year, maybe they had thought both could jump start their careers but they saw the same thing in their actions that got them released so i'll take McD's analysis over my own .

But i still did wonder why he wasn't at least tried in some instances .

The guy is still an NFL WR, more than any of us can say, but I’m glad he’s not on the Bills.

does anyone here think they're an NFL WR?

Good for him.  He was misused here IMO.

Yup. He was actually put on the field. Could have been modelling the latest in Bills street apparel on the sidelines.

Signed to a fully guaranteed contract.

I don’t think the two are mutually exclusive.  Yes he is guaranteed the money but if another team volunteers to give him some of it it can come off the bills books.  It depends on if the contract has. “ offset language”

Vs

Explanation

If a player with guaranteed money is cut, they are still owed that money. However, if they sign with a new team on a different deal, their old team is only responsible for a portion of the guaranteed money. The new team makes up the difference.

Example

If a player has $4 million in guaranteed money left on their contract and signs with a new team on a $1 million deal, their old team is only responsible for $3 million.
