Hopefully Cooper is great and will make me forget it cost us 3rd. We gave up a third last year for Rasul Douglas and a fifth and that trade has worked out pretty well. 5 1 Quote
SoonerBillsFan Posted October 15 Posted October 15 Cooper is honestly going to be seeking out the nearest Church to the Stadium and making a huge donation. Thanking God he goes from Watson to Allen is literally Football hell to Heaven for a WR. 3 2 Quote
eball Posted October 15 Posted October 15 What freaking WR would want to play for the trust fund baby misogynist Watson? Cooper just got the biggest football present of his life. 2 1 1 1 Quote

Deal or no deal? 1 Quote

DC Grid Posted October 15 Posted October 15 26 minutes ago, MikePJ76 said: OMG They sent a 3rd for Cooper. This is beyond terrible. Dallas sent cooper two years ago to Cleveland for a fifth. A 3rd round draft pick for a guy leading the league in drops who has questionable desire to play the game. Just shoot me right now. 1 - he’s a good WR for almost $0 as a one year rental so the Bills get a WR better than any they have for a 3rd rounder. 2 - if he signs another decent contract not with the Bills next offseason they’ll get a possible comp pick right? That’s more return than most third rounders are likely to offer. 4 Quote
hondo in seattle Posted October 15 Posted October 15 22 minutes ago, MikePJ76 said: a third round draft pick would have been here for four years and inexpensive. They traded the opportunity to draft a young player to fit in with a young team going forward for half a season. a third and a seventh for cooper and a sixth. I hate this. I get your reasoning and it makes some sense. But... Most 3rd round draft picks are jags. Only 29% of them become full-time starters for 4 or more seasons. Fewer yet become Pro Bowlers. Amari Cooper is a proven commodity with 5 Pro Bowls - including last year. I'd rather have a Pro Bowler on a short-term rental than another jag. We have enough jags already. 2 1 Quote

Easier to move a 3rd when you have the extra 2nd. 1, 2, 2, 4, 4, 6, 6, 6. If comp picks hold another 4 and 5 for davis and floyd. There's also the potential of a 2026 comp pick should cooper get paid. 1 1 Quote

I didn't like that either honestly but saw the bills as desparate at corner at that moment so i understood. I still don't think Buffalo was in the same spot at wr. 3 Quote

I was gonna say playing for Cleveland and straight up not demanding a trade is impressive in itself 🤣 Quote
