GolfandBills Posted October 15 Posted October 15 There was likely some other teams in on him. The 3rd round pick seems a little high for a 11 game rental but I like the trade Quote

He has 2 TDs, he has draw a couple PI calls, is good at run blocking and ST. He has definitely made an impact at points in most of the games. I think Hollins is good...as a WR4. But he certainly should not be a focal point of our passing game. 1 Quote

Seriously, what the literal F was that? If he doesn’t see the field for 3 weeks, don’t be shocked. If he doesn’t, just fire McClappy. 1 2 Quote

He shouldn't sniff the starting lineup of a team with aspirations to win playoff games. Quote

Low Positive Posted October 15 Posted October 15 For those that think that the Bills overpaid, just imagine how you would feel if the Chiefs had traded for Cooper for a 3rd. 5 3 1 1 Quote

On paper, it’s way too much for him, but the reality is, nobody cares if he’s the spark the O needs. If you listen to McClappy, he won’t see the field and certainly won’t be getting in over guys he trusts lol. If that clown won’t use the new weapon, he needs to be shown the door. 1 1 Quote
BufBills83 Posted October 16 Posted October 16 I think McDermott is just saying that so that it doesn't give off the impression that Cooper is the savior of the season. That makes it seem like the players that are here don't matter as much. I'm fine with what he said. 4 1 6 Quote

Way too much? where do you guys come up with this stuff 😂. Because Dallas is stupid and unloaded him for a 5th it makes him not worth a 3rd despite having basically zero salary owed? you would be protesting outside Beanes house if the chiefs made this deal lol Edited October 16 by Generic_Bills_Fan Quote

Thats a lot to give up for less than a one season rental. The contract is what makes it “worth” it. It’s a gamble to win now, just hope it works. 2 minutes ago, SUNTANBILLS FAN said: They can resign him fyi Yeah for 20+M a year FYI Quote

The lengths the anti mcd crowd will go to twist obvious coachspeak into whatever they want is kind of sad lol he deserves plenty of criticism for onfield decision making but this is just ridiculous. 1 Quote

If the Bills need a stopgap outside for a game or three, they can get by with him. I thought they needed a big upgrade outside as a starter, though, and I'm glad they found one. People are reading way too much into it, 1 all off season and into the season they've been preaching this "everyone eats" philosophy so it'd be weird for him to just completely flip on that. 2. We didn't even get to see what the question was in that article only some answers, a pretty loaded question can get a response that looks a certain way. 3. It really is important to integrate the guy into the team and the WR room. 1 1 Quote

Evansfan322 Posted October 16 Posted October 16 My main question is do we sign him to a new contract or let him play for nothing? Because he is playing for next to nothing and he has nothing to play for Quote

Seemed reasonable to me. I'm guessing the actual welcome and not a bull#### media thing will involve a handshake and maybe a hug, proably a what's up glad to have you. Or we can get all mad at coach talk lol 2 Quote
