Warcodered
He's been shaky all season, but a kick like that feels like the kind of thing that might be able to get him to shake his yips. 5 3

Freddie's Dead
This post has aged so well. As a die-hard Bass fan, I'm loving it. I'm sure the haterz will be back on the next meaningless miss. 2

It sort of does In the same way we look for our own pga tour card after every big drive or putt… he’s got to do it week in and week out. It’s a start. 14 minutes ago, Warcodered said: He's been shaky all season, but a kick like that feels like the kind of thing that might be able to get him to shake his yips. the other half will be the unit too - bad hold today, a tipped kick or two…. it is a big moment. Hopefully a turning point but by itself, it’s still a high risk bunch.

Charles Romes
If the guy can kick what would have been good from 70 into the wind, maybe he just needs to take a little off it, like DeChambeau in ‘24.

I'm sure the haterz will be back on the next meaningless miss. Forgive me, but a "meaningless miss" by a kicker is INCREDIBLY rare. There's a reason the good ones need to be well over 80%. Loved the FG kicking today. Hated the PATs. I absolutely think Bass gave himself a longer leash. But Beane and McDermott already proved they're thinking about the kicking game with the kickers they've brought in.

It might've helped that it wasn't a kick he "should" make. Takes a little bit of pressure off. I was happy for him but will still hold my breath every time he kicks. Dr.Sack
I’ve probably been one of Tyler’s biggest critics. Not only did Bass come up clutch, but he did it at record distance going into the sw end zone. He crushed that kick, great form technique & the ball just exploded off his foot. Finally stopped aiming it and focused more on power. Kudos to Bass.
