Squeak past one of the weaker playoff teams in the first round (probably Chargers or Colts - if we play a healthy TJ Watt Steelers, probably lose that game) and then lose on the road to either the Ravens or Chiefs. Same old thing every year. The playoff appearance and possible win gives Bills ownership the belief that if we run it back, maybe next year "will be the year." And we end up taking another DT or DE in the first round of the draft and some undersized linebackers and corners later on with a running back sprinkled in. Ownership believing Allen is fine throwing to the likes of Mack Hollins and Samuels because hey, playoffs. Anything less than a Super Bowl appearance and there should be a house cleaning and huge push for a true number one receiver. Perhaps even two home playoff games. Quote

hondo in seattle Posted October 16 Posted October 16 I'm going to be an optimist for no particularly rational reason: We're going to enter this year's playoffs healthier than ever. Defense: with Oliver and Milano back, we'll start playing like a Top Five defense. Offense: with Cooper on board and Shakir and Samual both fully healthy, our passing game will improve significantly. Even Coleman will get better as the rookie adjusts to the NFL. With better weapons to work with, and an evolving understanding of the defensive schemes deployed against him, Brady will begin to look like an upper-tier coordinator. For once facing teams with more injuries to key players than we have, we'll make a run all the way to the SB. Go Bills! Quote
QCity Posted October 16 Posted October 16 Division winner is all but settled barring a catastrophic injury run. One and done in the playoffs, just not enough elite talent. Quote

Losing can’t be acceptable, ever. Allen needs some help. That said I hope they find “it” and go on a run. Quote
Aussie Joe Posted October 17 Posted October 17 Make the playoffs and see what the injuries are like this time… Apparently their current betting odds suggest a 7.7 percent chance right now they win the Championship… https://www.foxsports.com/articles/nfl/2024-25-buffalo-bills-odds-odds-to-win-super-bowl-nfl-playoffs-division Quote
