Samuel can not be any worse than Mack Hollins out wide. He has done it plenty in his career at least he has speed. Tired of Mack’s slow ass out there. Let Samuel run some routes please! I’d even give Scantling more reps out there. I know Hollins is a + run blocker but Allen needs a receiver that get get open.

They are never taking Hollins off the field.

It seemed like Samuel and Shakir were rotating in and out. So Joe Brady can’t get both of those guys on the field together it seems. Thats not good.

Shakir wasn't moving well to me. Think he was toughing it out a bit to play. Hence the pitch count.

Samuel just looks really bad to me. He looks slooooow. And while the throw in the endzone he started in the backfield he showed the leverage and body control issues he has outside when the throw went to him.

Samuel 2 years ago on that crosser gets 15 yards and maybe more in space.

Instead he gets caught from behind with a step and tackled short of the sticks.

not sure if he’s hurt or shot. But I don’t think that Samuel is coming back

I'm not giving up hope yet in case he's protecting a toe, but he is absolutely a half step short of the guy we've seen throughout his career.

I said it before the game to @Chaos. I still have hope he is not fully healthy but its blind hope right now. Not got much evidence to support it.

I thought it was evident Shakir isn’t nearly 💯.  I wonder if he sits next week.  Tennessee low key has had a solid pass d.

I guess if he’s still protecting a toe now, with barely playing, I don’t know if he’s going to get that pop back this season. Next year certainly possible.

Turf toe feels like one of those injuries like the soft tissues (hamstrings) that linger all year.

I don’t know how we get rid of him.  15m gtd

Samuel did not complete the catch clean that’s why he looked slow and why he didn’t pull away on the crosser he was bumbling the ball and trying to secure it. He had two strides on the defender so don’t tell me he’s slow

Mind blowing, was yelling about this. I don’t get why we don’t use him as an actual receiver?

I don’t know, his overall activity seemed to see a slight uptick tonight so maybe we’ll see it eventually. Still the most frustrating aspect of this offense imo

I actually was a big fan of his in Carolina. I remember a while back when we had joint practice with the Panthers in pre season and he looked amazing.

He did make a few plays tonight, so I'm hopeful.

Yeah. But what I’m saying is it seems rare to see Shakir and Samuel on the field together.

If we aren’t going to use Samuel on the outside bite the bullet and make a trade for DK Metcalf who wants out of Seattle he’s only 26 and better long term then any other option. But would love to see what Samuel on the outside and Shakir in the slot looks like. We need our top two receivers on the field at the same time

It might come to a surprise to people that the QB and WRs are all this gelling together. I don’t think they all will be on the same page until another 4-5 weeks. I am choosing to give them time. Personally, I don’t mind a balanced passing attack. It makes it hard for defenses to know who to key in on. (Here’s a tongue twister. Key in on Keon)

I would really like to see them utilize Coleman more on motion, in the slot, on drags, etc.

His best attribute seems to be his run after catch ability and we're just not getting him the ball with running room enough. He's a big body and should be used in a slot a little more. Maybe his route tree and routes still need some help so they're developing it but being able to have Kincaid and Coleman in the middle of the field will open up a lot and give him more RAC chances. I think that's one of Brady's biggest failures, thus far.

If he is having trouble getting off the ball, put him in the slot where he can't be pressed. I don't see the get off as a major issue yet but there has been some instances where he was locked down, completely. We need to move him around.

Any worse?

Samuel is a legit, proven good WR.
