JerseyBills Posted December 9 Posted December 9 That false start was infuriating, just so obvious, also , there was 3 blatant holds on ourcDEs, 2 were on Von , forget the other Quote
zow2 Posted December 9 Posted December 9 Some bad calls on both clubs and some really bad non-calls, or ignored stuff. Von really doesn’t get the respect he probably deserves as offensive linemen arms are draped around his neck on a few plays. 3 1 Quote
Pete Posted December 9 Posted December 9 They picked up a pass interference flag after Rams defender had big grab of Coopers shirt, that clearly prevented Cooper from catching the ball. Replays showed the jersey being tugged hard. Assclown Brady applauded the refs for picking up the flag saying there was no interference. Did you not see the jersey tug Marcia? 6 1 Quote

That one really bothered me. First, the defender was just holding on to the shirt, and that I get. But when his hand pulled away from the jersey, it was clear that then there was real force being applied to Cooper, and I thought there was no way he didn't slow down as the result of that pull. It was hard to say, but it pretty easily could have been the difference between Coop getting to the ball and not. 5 1 Quote
djp14150 Posted December 9 Posted December 9 (edited) It’s about consistency….. missed false starts? Those stand out. There were a few non calls against the rams including that 4 th down. there was OPIs not called with push offs of receivers when they turn or cut. There was thst 3rd down short pass thst got called that had mutual contact. brabbing thr jersey and pulling on it is generally an automatic flag if “seen” Edited December 10 by djp14150 1 Quote

There was one play late in the game where the Rams lineman literally had Von in a sleeper hold as he was about to get Stafford, that was one of the more blatant ones that the refs "missed". 1 Quote
Drew21PA Posted December 9 Posted December 9 Gotta say the offensive Offside on 4th down was a back breaker but I digress I don’t think McDermott would have stopped them on 4th and 15 lol Quote
BearNorth Posted December 10 Posted December 10 Wonder if PFF would ever start grading refs on every play like they do players? Would be interesting to see how some of these reffing crews grade out. 1 1 1 Quote

Something you are taught to do since Pee-wee football. - Jets may or may not have made their first extra point. - Taron flagged for being smaller than the offensive lineman and falling under him - Both teams flagged for tackling the QB (I guess Epenesa should know better than to try and strip the ball?) - Dawkins flagged for… something? I’m actually not even sure what it was because it happened between the periods and the announcers didn’t seem to know what he did wrong… So maybe it was deserved? or maybe it was completely baloney? - Jets PI when the ball was thrown several yards out of bounds How about Kupp having the defender in a choke hold. 1 Quote

That was one of the worst officiated game I have ever seen. Embarrassing! The only reason I can't agree with you is that there have been so many games that seemed to have the worst officiating ever. There is absolutely a problem with surprising bad calls, and with the rising amount of gambling there will be more and more people wondering if the fix is in. I'm not going to read through all the pages of comments, so I don't know if anyone mentioned this, but I saw one play where the Rams O lineman had his arm around Von Miller's neck as Miller tried to get to Stafford. The ref was looking right at him, but Stafford completed a pass for a big play, so the flag stayed in his pocket. 49 minutes ago, The Jokeman said: Gene Steratore not Brady praised the no call. Yeah, Brady and Steratore both agreed. bull####. The tug slowed down Cooper when he was on a direct path to where the ball came down. 1 Quote

There is a real problem with NFL officiating and it's going to kill the goose that lays the golden eggs if they don't get a handle on it. Quote
JerseyBills Posted December 10 Posted December 10 So obvious and egregious, not sure how they "missed" this. They might have still went on 4th and 10 but would've increased our chances by alot. Also a few holding penalties on our DL nevercalled throughout, I definitely think the NFL wants LA in contention at least and the refs had a definitive role. 2 1 1 4 Quote
H2o Posted December 10 Posted December 10 We all knew this in real time, as did the announcers. They made mention of it immediately. Unreal that it wasn't called. And of course they pass right by on most Sunday night highlights and Monday morning on all of the talk shows, probably at the NFL's "request". 2 Quote
Big Turk Posted December 10 Posted December 10 Yeah it was obvious...I am stunned at how officials could be looking at this and be oblivious to it. Quote
strive_for_five_guy Posted December 10 Posted December 10 Just have to accept the NFL wanted the Rams to win this one. Hopefully we’re scripted to win this week and the eventual Super Bowl. 2 Quote
