Brand J Posted November 18 Posted November 18 Was over on Chiefsplanet reading the meltdown. Absolutely HILARIOUS how they believe the refs were on the Bills side all game. Quote
smward8 Posted November 18 Posted November 18 In general, the officiating wasn't perfect but balanced. My only real complaint is they refuse to call KCs right tackle for not being on the line like they did to the Ravens earlier in the year. You could tell when it was a pass play by where the guy lined up! Also, that guy false starts about half the time Quote

That was baltent OPI and the biggest missed call of the night. 2nd was the facemask on Johnson. 3rd was the non-review of the drop inside 2 minutes (not on the on field refs). I also thought on Gray's first TD that the Chiefs had an illegal formation with not enough guys on the line, but it was tight. I mean Hollins doesn't really change his route or anything it's not exactly blatant the guy just runs straight into the route and gets nailed, I mean it's the whole point of that kind of route is to force him to have to find a way to not let precisely that happen. To me, the replays made it look really close, but not definitive either way. I think it could’ve been overturned on review, but I think most likely the call on the field would’ve stood. Even in the moment, I wasn’t that bothered by the lack of a review. A little bothered but not a lot. Quote
Einstein Posted December 9 Author Posted December 9 How is this not a penalty? Our DB is being assaulted while the ball is STILL IN THE AIR 2 6 1 Quote

If he had any football smarts in him on that play he could’ve had himself a pick (6…. Hahahaha not that old man.) 1 Quote

davefan66 Posted December 9 Posted December 9 Couple of missed false starts that may have stalled one of the rams drives. That’s all we needed. 1 3 Quote

Orlando Buffalo Posted December 9 Posted December 9 Officials in the NFL are terrible, at least now in general we get the benefit of the crap about half the time. The offsetting pass interference calls was hilarious because neither should have been called. As for the official in the booth, I find them annoying because they often contradict themselves 1 1 1 Quote

That and the missed false start on 4th down drove me crazy, on top of the poor game management by the team at the end too. 1 1 Quote
SUNTANBILLS FAN Posted December 9 Posted December 9 So they catch a flinch on Dawkins but the the early rock on the rams eh Or I guess the new legal blocking for o lineman is the arm around the neck! 4 Quote

Oh right after the series where they flagged hands to the face or maybe it was the facemask. Edited December 9 by Warcodered 1 Quote
DabillsDaBillsDaBills Posted December 9 Posted December 9 Refs had such a ridiculous standard for DPI in this game. Multiple garbage calls against the Bills. Then they pick up the DPI flag on the deep ball to Cooper where the DB had a fistful of jersey for 5+ yards. The late DPI on Rams in the endzone was garbage as well. 1 1 1 Quote
DapperCam Posted December 9 Posted December 9 Refs lost control of the game in the secondary. Both teams had WRs pushing off (Rams a little bit more than the Bills), and both teams had DBs getting handsy. They called the Bills for every ticky tacky thing downfield on defense and didn’t call anything on the Rams except that one OPI until the last drive when it was basically over anyway. Made the flow of the game really weird, and tipped in the Rams favor IMO. That 3rd down stop where they called DPI against Nacua where the Bills would get the ball back with lots of time to tie or take the lead was not much at all. They usually let that go. 2 Quote
EmotionallyUnstable Posted December 9 Posted December 9 It goes both ways man. Refs screwed a handful of calls our way (long Robinson catch, two calls on late hits on Allen) and they missed some for us. It isn’t the reason we lost the game. And if you think it is, then shame on us for being in a position where that could happen. 1 Quote
henry jones Posted December 9 Posted December 9 Refs did not cost us the game. Granted, they were awful as usual, but the awfulness kinda went both ways. The biggest call/non call was the no false start on their RT. They likely would’ve attempted a FG and given us the ball with a butt ton of time to drive for a winning TD. It was our defense that put us in that position in the first place Quote
The 9 Isles Posted December 9 Posted December 9 Refs should face fines for blatantly bad calls. Quote
Let's Go Buffalo Posted December 9 Posted December 9 Two of those bad non calls went against us on that final Rams scoring drive as well. Quote
