All the whining pregame and it didn't materialize in the game.  That holding call on the Mahommes run was huge.

It was a hold the offensive linemen basically did a bear hug. That being said the refs only missed two calls the facemask on Davis and the lack of a review on the last KC catch. I'm not sure if there were any missed calls that went for the Bills but overall it wasn't a poorly officiated game at all.

It looked definitive to me. It would have been reversed if it had been reviewed. The announcers and the rules analyst agreed.

Yes, other than that dropped pass that wasn't reviewed.

And multiple missed face masks and a shot to head on a tackle.

Agreed, and I like how they called that entire game. Let them play. We don’t need a hundred flags and constant huddling by the refs.

refs let both teams hold quite a bit, but only called the most egregious.

I also liked not reviewing the chiefs catch near the end. We don’t need a 15-minute review over the intricacies of the dumb catch rules. They kept the game moving.

I mean they got to enforce the rules to a degree especially when some of the things that we saw them get away with were some pretty violent things like poking a player in the eyes and some bad facemasks.

Also definitely can't agree on the last catch like I get the general idea of what you're saying but this wasn't even close the guy never secured the ball and pinned it against the ground. That's just not a ***** catch this isn't some overly complicated rule, just catch the damn ball.

Should have been 4th and 13 with the incomplete pass. They called it a catch, but then yes, they called the obvious hold.

That call had to be made upstairs.  So it wasn't the field crew's  error.  The NFL didn't overrule it.  It was pretty close.

if they had reviewed that last catch, we would have been there all day, odds are that they say there isn’t enough evidence, and all the energy in that stadium and on D is gone. (Maybe I would be feeling a different way if it had a material impact on the game though?)

The only reason it didn't have a material impact on the game is because they literally called a penalty on the next ***** play that was an easy first down because of the yards that catch gave them. So the refs interrupted the game anyway.

it probably hit the ground but i don't remember seeing anything definitive. they don't overturn on "we think so".

Probably, meaning when the ball was clear as day on the ground?  They showed the replay half a dozen times.

I can't believe they didn't review the non-catch that was called a catch late. Even if they don't overturn it it should have been reviewed.

Amari Cooper's catch was the right decision.

Chris Jones facemask was the only WTF moment to me. Oliver was held quite a lot

Early on I saw Bill's jersey getting tugged. There were a few missed plays tbh.

I didn't see anything egregious outside of the obvious missed facemask and the last catch not being reviewed. Everything else seemed like call that "could go either way" so to speak.

Couple obvious pick plays, hands to the face on the Chiefs' OL all night long. Typical holding on offense and defense. Missed facemask that everyone watching could see from a mile away and the opposite side of the camera. An obvious non-catch that could have turned the game.

This was just another horrendous officiating night. The Chiefs will get away with 90% of their penalties and we'll be grateful they called 10%.

I’m not sure if it’s “schaup”or “the bulldog”, but when they were talking about that catch that wasn’t reviewed at the end, whoever it was is a total idiot and said he had control of the ball. Seriously get off the radio if you’re that stupid.
Those two middle-aged porn obsessed losers with SDE are so unlistenable it’s not even funny.

The missed face mask was bad.

You know, sometimes the officials won't see things. I get that. I can live with that. It is when they see things that aren't there that really bothers me. Phantom holds or phantom pass interference. That is the worst.

There is no excuse for not looking in the last 2 minutes on whether a juggling ball hit the ground or not.

The officials were overall bad today, the first holding call we benefitted from was barely there, they missed the facemask, missed the dropped pass on last drive, the end zone PI was a bad call because Hopkins initiated the contact and it was not excessive. I will say thankfully they did not call 30 penalties like the Jets game.

I agree that phantom calls are far worse but missing a facemask on the guy with the ball that was that obviously is bad.

Refs overall were fine today. They missed the "catch ". But at the end of the day that should be a booth review and not up to them.

And missed the Chris jokes face mask.

Overall they were fair though as I don't think they screwed the bills or chiefs
