What's the cap look like next year carrying the same roster? I know there's some re-signing to be done and Josh's contract probably reworked. I'd imagine after losing that $60 million in dead cap space that we'd be in pretty good position for some moves.

Knox averages 35 catches, 35 yards and 4TDs!

Terrible!

Upping Dawson Can’t Catch A Ball Knox was a brutal, brutal move by Beanie!

Your use of cheesy cringe nicknames is significantly more brutal

Oh damn. I thought we'd be sitting pretty after losing this year's dead cap.

They will get cap relief (along with some dead cap) when they do their 2nd purge of high prized players....Miller, Knox, Milano etc.

Von Miller has a cap hit of $23.9 million in 2025. Cutting him would save $8.5 million against the cap and would incur $15.4 million in dead money.

Matt Milano has a cap hit of $16.1 million in 2025. Cutting him would negatively affect the cap (loss of $1.1 million) and incur $17.3 million in dead money. Not sure how trading affects that or not.

Ed Oliver has a cap hit of $20.8 million in 2025. Cutting him would negatively affect the cap (loss of $5.7 million) and incur $26.5 million in dead money.

Dawson Knox has a cap hit of $14.0 million in 2025. Cutting him would negatively affect the cap (loss of $2.9 million) and incur $17.0 million in dead money.

Seems like a lot of bad moves for Buffalo. But someone else can speak to how trading might impact those numbers. I don't know exactly how that works myself.

I sincerely appreciate you taking the time to do this. Thank you.

Short summary - we lose Milano, Oliver, Knox, and Von and get ... zero cap relief.

Brilliant plan from the OP!

Just in time for new stadium. Hopefully they build a monster.

History as an indicator,  the NFL usually helps out teams getting new stadiums.   If you know what  I mean

This guy for next GM. He’s mediated!    Hire saleh fire everyone else.  Trade everyone each week who did not do well.  Get a new sports science staff who can prevent broken bones and stuff…I mean no one has ever thought of that…

Be real, Saleh will have his pick of 30 plum jobs. The rest is spot on however...

The sad reality is that we're screwed on the cap this year and next. Beane kinda sucks when it comes to handing out money.

How many of these extensions of our home grown players have worked out beside Josh?
