VW82 Posted October 12 Posted October 12 Any trade would realistically only take place after the season and assuming Milano comes back and looks good this year. If that happens, and Dorian also continues to look decent, then yes, we should explore trade possibilities in the off season for all the reasons mentioned. I'd add Josh's ballooning cap hit to the list. Quote

He has a history of injuries and we could enter the 2025 draft weekend armed with some serious draft capital. Maybe this is where we get Diggs' successor, our Von Miller heir and continue building at G and DT. This, of couse, depends on Dorian Williams' continued development, but he's playing well. We don't need to decide yet, but the possibility intrigues me. After all, the best ability is availability and why else would we have used a 3rd round pick on Williams? We used a 3rd rounder on Bernard and look at what happened at MLB. I think Milano's contract has us keeping him for another year so he isn't likely to be released outright, but a trade could mitigate the financial impact. We have time to watch Dorian Williams develop too. Also, Beane has shown that he's not afraid to pul the trigger on an explosive trade. Your thoughts? How many firsts do you think we can get for him? 1 Quote

todd Posted October 12 Posted October 12 I'm not sure trading away one of your best defensive players is a good idea. Actually, I'm more than not sure, I think it is remarkably stupid. Weeks after losses really suck, because all the dumb stuff comes out. 3 Quote

So little tread off the tire! He’s really only 28 in football years! Ya think Beane can sell that? 😂 3 Quote

Governor Posted October 13 Posted October 13 (edited) Milano hasn’t really played since the “Is Milano injury-prone” thread and that was 3 years ago. Lol. I don’t think he’s had a 5-game stretch where he was 100 percent and not dinged/limited in some way his entire career. Edited October 13 by Governor 1 Quote

KollegeStudnet Posted October 13 Posted October 13 I never want to comment on stuff like this, but is this just typical Bills fans or is every other fan base create posts like this? A LB that is injured won’t be tradable with the money contract he is owed. Quote
