I'd give up a low first for DK but dont see Bills pulling the trigger given their cap space... and time of the year... guy is a beast.

If the Seahawks trade him he will have virtually have no cash left to pay this year.  They have to eat all but a million dollars of his salary if traded.  If they trade him at the deadline, that goes down to around 500k.   If he's available that's an open and shut case for any cash strapped team.

The Seahawks are not going to trade away their best receiver just because he was a little bit frustrated on the sideline.

Might as well start threads about Justin Jefferson, Ja'Marr Chase, and Nico Collins while you're at it.

You mean you don’t need to trade your best player even if he’s unhappy?

based on our picks and cap limitations, i'm holding out for dk and adams both getting traded for.  that's just cheat code talent.

We have no choice we have to do something.

We cannot waste Josh's career like this.

We’re wasting it with these unproven OC hires, who to this point have been god awful.

he said multiple first and second round picks which turned me off but then he said a roster player like Von. What do you think it would take to get DK?

Stuff like this annoys me.

So some random TWSN reporter on a radio show puts out a completely hypothetical "what if?" scenario with no information as to whether or not Seattle's interested in moving him. Someone else writes an article about it bc the headline will get clicks. Then everyone takes that as some sort of confirmation that the player is *actually* available. When even this article follows up the discussion by talking about why it won't happen.

Unless it's a big time reporter tweeting out that sources are telling them that a player is on the market and discussions are actually being had (like with Davante Adams) - it's just speculation and fantasy. No more meaningful than when fans post trade ideas on this message board.

There were so many on this board pounding the table for DK.  They were all right about that one.  DK should have been the pick

Shades of EVERYONE on this board wanting Haloti Ngata and the GM picks Whiffner. Remember Ngata saying years later he thought for sure he’d be a Buffalo Bill? That one still stings.

No kidding. Every team misses on a player/s every draft but it’s worse when there was an absolute position of need at that point in time and they passed on a guy who ended up having a quality career for said need.

Whitner, for all the hate, could have turned out far worse than he did. At least there’s that lol

I got some reason will never give Whitner any credit. Yes he was over drafted and it's not his fault. But he talked like he actually was a difference maker and he was far from it
