The guy from a few years ago, probably. Such a knack for getting behind defenders, stacking them, and tracking the ball over his head.

Is 2024 Tyler Lockett still effective enough to "fix" anything? He can still play in the league, but this is a hyperbolic post without any further analysis of the how and why.

If you're going to throw out random Sehawks why not reach a little higher with DK Metcalf?

I can only dream about what our offense would like with these 2 guys (Metcalf and Lockett) lining up for Josh to throw to.

That said, if there's any way to get Lockett on the Bills, I'm listening.

The Seahawks aren't selling the farm. They are currently tied atop the NFC West standings with SF. Adams or Cooper are much more likely trade targets. We also might be able to get Diontae Johnson from Carolina, but I'm not sure how much he helps this offense or if it would be worth a draft pick.

Granted the Hawks lost the last three, but they won the first three.  Why would a rookie HC accept giving Lockett away?  I’m with the other poster it’s Adams or Cooper if anyone, and god I hope it’s one of them.  Our WR’s are drowning.

I think the better discussion about the Bills seeing the Seahawks is noticing that when they had Lockett and Metcalf they still drafted JSN in round 1.

Which means they still have two very good WRs if they wanted to part with Lockett.

I don't think he is the answer for Buffalo. He's not been that great for a couple of years now.

It's really that part of the season already, huh? Time flies by. We are already ball hyper focused on Cooper or Adams. Everyone setting their hopes up high only to be squashed on players to acquire. I do agree, something needs to be done and I feel like it will be "addressed".

But my advice is, lower your expectations. Beane is far more likely to bring back guys like Andy Isabella, Chase Claypool or..,hey what's Tanner Gentry up to these days?

I just have a hunch that whomever they nab to help out is going to fall far short of expectations....but at least we get the Buffalo Podcasters blowing smoke up our areses about what a "sneaky smart and excellent move it was".

That and Pumpkin Spice are the two best parts of the year

I'd prefer signing/trading for Cooper on a short 2 year deal. He can mentor Coleman while we continue to look for/ draft a speed guy.

While I’m a huge Amari Cooper fan - and I’d love for the Bills to add him - I only see him as a cheap rental for the rest of this season. He’s looking to get paid one last time when he hits free agency this coming offseason and I think he is close to falling off that WR cliff. I’d love for the Bills to eke out the last great football he has left in him though. And I don’t think he’d be that expensive in trade. But I wouldn’t want the Bills to invest a lot of cap space in him either.

Hope the bills see it and move it.

I don’t really agree… but if you are Seattle and have a shot at playoffs why would you trade Lockett?

This ("I just have a hunch that whomever they nab to help out is going to fall far short of expectations....") is my guess too.

I think in particular Cooper has a bit of a chance to work out but I can't see them giving away a day two pick for a guy for one year, which would likely be what Adams would be here.

Best guess is, IMO, they bring in somebody, but it's not one of the two or three big names that people are hoping for.

So based on that we should all check the Seahawks board on Tuesday morning to see if there’s a thread entitled “Curtis Samuel could fix this offense!” 😁
