I think the 49ers learned their lesson with giving Jimmy G to that record contract. Shanahan will find his Sam Darnold. Quote
DapperCam Posted October 11 Posted October 11 49ers have way more talent than us and look just as inept. 2 Quote

LABILLBACKER Posted October 11 Posted October 11 Somebody tell Geno the endzone is only 10 yards deep.... Quote
Lionel Hutz Posted October 11 Posted October 11 Those Seahawks uniforms might be the best throwbacks in the league. Funny how most every team in the leagues look from the 90s is superior to what they replaced it with. 3 1 1 Quote

Plenty of teams now have really good looking jerseys, but most of us on here grew up in the 90’s or earlier and we like what we saw as a kid. Personally I definitely prefer Seattle’s current jersey over what they wore last night (and I grew up in the 90’s) Quote
Gregg Posted October 11 Posted October 11 Seattle needs to go back to these as their full-time uniforms. They are so much better than what they currently use. 2 2 Quote

Maybe the op prefers the nostalgia, but they do simply look better. Both can be true and in this case they are. Seahawks current uniforms are among the leagues ugliest. Utah John Posted October 11 Posted October 11 My takeaway is that Seattle's defense is really bad. Couldn't cover receivers crossing 8-10 yards downfield, couldn't tackle anyone without giving up 10 YACs, couldn't stop the run until SF's starting RB got hurt. Also, I'm impressed with Brock Purdy. Good decisions, good accurate passes. Not much of a deep ball. Also a much better runner than you'd think, until he zooms past someone for a first down. 1 Quote
