Justice Posted June 22, 2005 Posted June 22, 2005 Name the most famous movie you never saw and why didn't you see it? For me it's Casablanca. Every time I tell someone I have never seen it, they look at me like I'm from another planet. I'm not into older movies so that's my excuse. If the movie is older than 35 years old, chances are I never saw it.

Astrobot Posted June 22, 2005 Posted June 22, 2005 I never saw Fargo or Easy Rider. I actually regret both. I'll make plans to see them this summer. Where are they playing?
OBXBILLSFAN Posted June 22, 2005 Posted June 22, 2005 My favorites, in no particular order, are Casablanca; Falling Down; Planes, Trains and Automobiles; Nobody's Fool (the Paul Newman/Jessica Tandy film) and The Outlaw Josey Wales.

Sorry. . .
JohninMinn. Posted June 22, 2005 Posted June 22, 2005 Titanic. Tried to watch it 3 times and fell asleep each time.
MikeG Posted June 22, 2005 Posted June 22, 2005 Casablanca - wouldn't mind trying to watch it, but I think I'd get really really bored... Titanic - NO desire at all to see this, just doesn't seem interesting to me at all Sleepless in Seattle - would watch it, I love You've Got Mail, and I think it's along the same lines... there is always something that I KNOW I like on at the same time as this The Terminator - just never saw the whole thing, I loved Terminator 2 though.
PIZ Posted June 22, 2005 Posted June 22, 2005 2 movies I started to watch (rented because of the hype) and turned off because they sucked SO bad were Pulp Fiction and that Lady Marmalade one with Nicole Kidman. Why do people like these movies?
PastaJoe Posted June 22, 2005 Posted June 22, 2005 Gone With the Wind. Got bored and could never sit through all of it. Of course it's a 'best movie' according to others, not me.
BuffalOhio Posted June 22, 2005 Posted June 22, 2005 I never saw Fargo or Easy Rider. I actually regret both. I'll make plans to see them this summer. Where are they playing? 363975[/snapback] Skip Fargo. That movie is just plain stupid!
BuffalOhio Posted June 22, 2005 Posted June 22, 2005 Lord of the Rings (any of them) and Star Wars (any of them). They've never interested me in the least. No particular reason. Just not interested.
R. Rich Posted June 22, 2005 Posted June 22, 2005 That Don Cheadle movie from last year, the one he was nominated for an Oscar for. I haven't seen that.
Alaska Darin Posted June 22, 2005 Posted June 22, 2005 Titanic - I saw the preview where the dude fell and hit the prop. Didn't figure the other 3 hours could top that. Probably wasn't wrong.
Ramius Posted June 22, 2005 Posted June 22, 2005 Casablanca and Gone with the Wind (altho my girl is working HARD to change that)
Matt in KC Posted June 22, 2005 Posted June 22, 2005 Best movie I never seen (echoing grammar of topic title): Schindler's List Gone with the Wind Hotel Rwanda (next up from Netflix)
Reuben Gant Posted June 22, 2005 Posted June 22, 2005 Midnight Cowboy. Theaters wouldn't carry it because it had an X rating. (probably pg-13 today! - I think it got an academy award, and never saw it in the Vid shop.)
