I was surprised to see him back in. I find it pretty hard to believe he didn't have a concussion. 3 9 1 Quote
WotAGuy Posted October 8 Posted October 8 He ought to have his head examined for putting up with Mack Hollins as #1 WR. 3 4 18 2 1 Quote
Mango Posted October 8 Posted October 8 Of course. Put Allen in a different jersey and the entire message board is clamoring my that the NFL is risky this guys future. 2 minutes ago, RoyBatty is alive said: So the co founder of the Concussion Legacy Foundation got the plug for his foundation and CNN jumped on it like raw meat, shockers. So he is a former college football players and WWE wrestler so he is now a "neuroscientist" I have to look him up see where he got medical degree. His undergrad is from Harvard and his PhD is from BU. 10 1 1 2 Quote

Sweats Posted October 8 Posted October 8 I have no issue with this and if JA has to sit out a game or two, i'm okay with that too......look at the long term. If we are spinning our wheels this year and not really going anywhere as a rebuild/reload, then preserve JA as much as you can and get ready for next season. I've made my peace with this season and perhaps some of you should too. 5 1 14 2 1 Quote

papazoid Posted October 8 Posted October 8 he hit his head pretty hard.....his hand wrist went limp as he slid/rolled to a stop.....sure looked like he was knocked out, however briefly should be interesting if he experiences any symptoms this week 4 2 Quote

Success Posted October 8 Posted October 8 I thought he said on the sideline that it was his chest & not his head? 8 minutes ago, Sweats said: I have no issue with this and if JA has to sit out a game or two, i'm okay with that too......look at the long term. But what do you mean by making peace w/ this season? We lost 2, so we are out of the running now? 1 Quote

Saxum Posted October 8 Posted October 8 Quote Nowinski, a former college football player and WWE wrestler Has he been checked for CTE or this just publicity to raise donations for Concussion Legacy Foundation? He has quite a bit of conflict of interest. Quote

Allen needs to be pulled aside and not allowed to suit up again until he has an MRI. Quote

Josh did say that it was a chest injury. Just like Tua said that he had back spasms after he got up from that Milano hit and was visibly wobbly. 3 diagnosed concussions later and Tua is currently on IR with many advocating for his retirement. These guys are warriors and know what to say to avoid concussion protocol, but (sometimes) at the detriment of their long term health. 5 1 Quote

zow2 Posted October 8 Posted October 8 I knew this would happen. Multiple ex-players and QBs who are on TV were upset about this and said it was a joke the way they put him back in the game. 1 1 Quote

What i mean is that until Brady figures out how to use our inept WR's, it may be a long, logggggggg season with a lot of heartache and pain. D's have figured us out and it's not hard to prepare schemes to shut us down, so if we figure it out and make a solid run to the SB, i'm okay with that, but if we falter somewhere along the way, i'm okay with that too for this season........i've made my peace with however this season turns out, good or bad. 3 1 Quote
