Success Posted October 7 Posted October 7 We were down 20-3 to one of the better teams in the league, on the road. Once again, we came out of the half looking like a different team. The defense made some key plays - the stop on 4th down, the pick by Bernard, and generally getting the stops we needed to keep the game close and give the offense a chance. Overall, outside of the long TD, the defense actually held it down well all day. It was a great road comeback, and it's all we'd be talking about today if the coaching staff didn't let the team down on that last series. I thought calling 3 passes there really disrespected the effort that the whole team made to get that game back to a tie. We had the momentum at that point - we just needed to get to OT, and it's likely our outlook would be very different today. 2 1 6 Quote

Agreed- things looked bleak, but then again, I always have hope because we have Josh Allen. In a game where Brady and Allen were both awful, the D (and stroud) gave us a chance with some big turnovers. Too bad the offense couldn’t do anything with them 2 Quote
sleeby Posted October 7 Posted October 7 Great come back. Great team. Defense is playing much better than they look on paper with the missing starters. Coaches still have no clue how to manage the final 2 minutes of very close matches. If they ate Clock and made it to OT I think Bills would have likely won as they dominated the second half. Next 5 games are all easily winnable. Not saying they will win all 5 but I would hope at least 4 of the five. 2 Quote
LabattBlue Posted October 7 Posted October 7 Can it really be a great comeback if you don’t end up winning? 🤔 2 Quote

Gregg Posted October 7 Posted October 7 It was frustrating not getting to OT as the Bills had the momentum in the 2nd half. 2 Quote
Sweats Posted October 7 Posted October 7 A bad coaching decision threw off our momentum by 3 straight passes and not running to chew the clock.......just like last week even trying that horrendous trick play, killing our momentum of a comeback in that game. Two weeks in a row, bad coaching decisions screwed the team, but it's not on the coaching staff? Delusional fanbase right there. 1 Quote

What was more frustrating was not getting a touchdown after the fumble by Stroud. The Bills had the ball at the 15 and settled for a field goal. Also, yes, Bernard's interception was fantastic. He read that perfectly. Edited October 7 by Mark Vader 1 2 Quote
QCity Posted October 7 Posted October 7 I would say the defense playing better coincided with the Nico Collins injury, not halftime adjustments. 2 3 Quote

Our Head Coach is a massive liability, has always been and will continue to be and that's the part so many are upset about. The players have the fight. They and the fans deserve someone better. 2 Quote
