Comparably, I don’t think this team is as individually talented as many of the contenders, but as a team, they are playing really great ball. The D has really stepped up, even with injuries to key guys, the O is doing enough and mostly capitalizing on the opportunities the D has been providing. This is going to be a tough team to beat down the stretch. Detroit will certainly be an indicator of how good the D really is. I think Allen can keep the O on pace with the Lions, BUT if they come out and run the ball down the throat like the Ravens did, it’s a bad sign. I’m just looking forward to a strong finish to the season and hopefully some stuff breaks our way as the post season rolls around. It’s time to see the Bills in a SB again. 5 Quote

ganesh Posted November 27 Posted November 27 The team stiil has six games to go in regular season before worrying post season. They have three tough games coming up followed by three tough divisional matchups... Post season wins is what is remembered and the Bills are aware of it....the painful losses they have endured the last five seasons.... they are the king of December in the NFL and hope to continue that into January and finally become the Emperor in February. zow2 Posted November 27 Posted November 27 The Bills have gone into the playoffs on an absolute roll a few times. Unfortunately they've run into Pat Mahomes. There are seasons when New England and KC rested people and didn't play meaningful football until their first playoff games, and still won it all. I guess my point is there is not a specific recipe for winning the Bowl. Just play your best football from opening kickoff in postseason and make your own luck regarding turnovers, bounce of the ball and clutch plays. Quote

Biggest issue is that Bills defense not been as sturdy in the playoffs as been in regular season, case in point against the Chiefs in the regular season we gave up 20 something points per game in the playoffs that increased to 35 or so. I don't want to blame it solely on injury but we've had quite a few happen pre and in the playoffs the last few years. I'm just hoping we can stay healthy this season to be at our best in the playoffs all the way to the end. Quote

Past teams had this too and I give McDermott a lot of credit for changing the culture which is huge in the NFL. Look at the Jets. They do seem a little closer this year and it may be because they got rid of some veterans with stronger personalities. 1 Quote
machine gun kelly Posted November 27 Posted November 27 16-2 for McD in December. My gut is 5-1 this season, and maybe 6-0. We’d better be playing on all cylinders for Detroit. Why l love it is it is likely ad prelude to the SB, and I do t see Baltimore or KC beating us if we are healthy. The football gods blessed us with a week 12 bye.
