Bills up 3 games on Fins and 3.5 games on the Jets...

Looks like they will be cruising to another AFC East title

The Jets are entering a soft part of their schedule. They really have only two tough games against the Bills and Texans...Everything else is winnable for them.

The Dolphins have to play the Bills, Jets (twice), 49ers, Texans and Packers...Tough games on their plate.

The Bills still have to play the Chiefs, 49ers, and the Jets.

That 3 and 3.5 game cushion will come in handy.

In my opinion the Jets are the soft part of other teams' schedules.  I also think it's hilarious that they made a "win now" move at 2-4 and gave up draft capital that they'll badly need for the rebuild that starts immediately when Rodgers retires, only to lose by 22 points to the Steelers and move to 2-5.

Everything is losable for the Jets also. They legitimately look like a team of individual pieces that don't know how to play together.

given how nasty baltimore and kc are, and how we've managed to lose two consecutive years at home in the playoffs, i think home field advantage is a like 8% or lower probability thing now and not as crucial as we all thought it was after the 13 seconds game, so winning the division is kinda close as makes no difference to the best likely outcome of the regular season (obv being healthy is so HUGE).  also, kc won two on the road last season to win the chip, no excuses we just have to ball in the post season.

because of that, while i will panic and black pill in the game day thread, if we just keep our division lead we are kinda in the best place we can likely be this year.

we play NE twice in 3 weeks near the end of the season, as long as they don't figure it out late and pose a challenge, we are prolly gonna be in about where we can be for the remainder.

We just need to win the rest of our AFC games and we are in good shape. I think that both Seattle and SF are winnable as well.

Old adage is still true... just worry about what you can control.

I agree that Post Season is what matters most but seeding is very important as well.  The less road games the Bills have the higher the odds they continue to advance.  Yes, I know that we lost to the Bengals and Chiefs at home but being at home is better than being on the road.

You need a serious attitude adjustment. This isn’t supposed to be fun! Get with the program.

Pittsburgh was supposed to be winnable last night.

I think I made that exact point in the OP.

Regular season should be enjoyable. Save the stress for the postseason

EVERYBODY here knows the Lombardi is the ONLY goal in the Josh years! Showing up and getting a Playoff participation trophy is not!

Still, you need to keep rolling with victories to give yourself the best possible chance. Today, KC looks like a cinch for the #1 spot. Most other contenders have fallen away, so that only the Ravens are the contender for #2.

Bills should win 6 of 9 remaining. But, that is not good enough. Don’t think they’ll beat the rampaging Lions. But beating 1 of Chiefs/ 49ers, preferably the former… at Home, is in the cards.

Ravens play Philly at Home and Chargers on the Road. They would need to choke on at least one more Browns type game.

😂 You know Homey don't play 'dat. Every loss is a disaster that requires a full house cleaning.

Lots of fans live miserable lives.

Just enjoy the ride. All you’re doing is getting yourself, and the team that needs to deal with this nasty energy, really wound up.

Just admit that you’ve never won a Super Bowl and you have no idea of the mindset it takes to win one. All Bills fans know is losing. So why in the world are you making proclamations of what needs to happen?

Just let it go and enjoy the ride.

I'm not sure why KC looks like a cinch. We play them still.  We are 3-4 against them over the last 4 years.  There is no reason we can't beat them again.

If we beat them, we have tie breaker.  They would only have 1 game on us in that scenario.  With as pedestrian as their offense has looked at times there is no reason that they couldn't lose a few games throughout the season.

I'm not calling us favored or anything, but it doesn't really take a huge reach to see us ahead of KC.

The only thing matters is next week's home against the Dolphins.  Squish the Fish.  Go Bills !!!

Personally I'm impressed by how the Bills are playing on offense.  Still plenty of room to improve though.  The defense is hanging in there but even at full strength is vulnerable to a quality offense that can run the ball, pass over the middle, and not make ridiculous mistakes.

My thoughts on the playoffs have evolved over the last couple years. I think the only seed that matters is the first seed, where you only need to win two games at home to get to the SB.  Even Buffalo, which is a great home atmosphere, doesn't seem to provide much home field advantage in the playoffs anymore.

Home Field gets neutralized when you go against HoF visiting QBs.
