thenorthremembers Posted October 6 Posted October 6 He's a hell of a blocker. What's even cooler is he makes 14 next year and they have to eat 9 of it to cut him lol. 1 4 1 1 5 Quote

It helps us get a feel for market value and gives us more time to find out if they have a serious injury or if they still fit in future plans. Beane needs to look at waiting as an investment in more information. Instead he tries to sign everybody early so it's cheaper vs a higher cap but when you do that your risk becomes dead cap hit from decisions made with less information. 5 Quote
MWK Posted October 6 Posted October 6 Beane overpaying one of his draft picks, shocker. At least he gets to be in the West Herr commercials! Quote

Buddy Hix Posted October 6 Posted October 6 But all the Bills podcasts said it was a great deal, just like the Miller, Diggs and Bass deals. Beane’s a genius. 1 2 Quote

The Bills podcasts are right! Big Baller Beane will save us! Just wait for the Rousseau overpay. Those podcasts offer nothing besides “analysis,” which is just praise for everything Beane and McDermott do. Edited October 6 by MWK 2 1 Quote

GoBills! Posted October 6 Posted October 6 For the record I was against the Knox deal, he was never going to be an elite TE he is great at blocking but never near the talent level they signed him for. von was a reach diggs was needed knox was a reach 1 1 Quote
Jukester Posted October 6 Posted October 6 At the time it wasnt a bad idea. Where it went wrong was when they drafted Kincaid. I was very wary of how both would coexist as pass catching tight ends. Horribly planned. Should’ve traded Knox right away. Paying the price now, literally. 3 Quote
Bangarang Posted October 6 Posted October 6 I thought his contract would only make sense if his usage increased and he maintained his TD production. Then Beane drafted Kincaid in the 1st and Knox has become an afterthought. Paying Knox and then immediately drafting his replacement was such a horrible use of resources by Beane. 6 6 4 Quote
DJB Posted October 6 Posted October 6 He’s garbage and useless. I remember when posters on here told me I was dumb for saying he was massively overpaid 1 1 Quote

Brandon Posted October 6 Posted October 6 They've been trying to force this 12 personnel BS for two years and haven't been able to make it work. In the process, they've managed to turn an offense that was a thoroughbred into a plowhorse. That's not a Knox issue. That's on the coaching staff and front office. 2 3 1 Quote
SoCal Deek Posted October 6 Posted October 6 Yet another bad contract based on personal circumstances in the McD era. Shameful!! Quote

Fwiw the OL is a sieve because we have absolutely no weapons on offense catching the ball, so defenses are teeing off on our barely average OL. Because they are not scared of the 4 yard dink and dunk offense that we trot out there every week. 1 Quote
