LabattBlue Posted October 6, 2024 Posted October 6, 2024 (edited) Two years ago they bring in a great 3rd down back(Hines) and refuse to use him except as a punt returner. Fast forward two years, Beane signs Samuel to a 2 year deal, and they refuse to use him. Does Beane even talk to the coaches before flushing money down the drain? Coach Tuesday Posted October 6, 2024 Posted October 6, 2024 They absolutely are on the same page - they do not understand how to evaluate talent on offense. 1 4 2 1 Quote
Beast Posted October 6, 2024 Posted October 6, 2024 Donβt mention the 14 million dollar a year tight end that seemed to be pretty decent once upon a time, 2 Quote
SCBills Posted October 6, 2024 Posted October 6, 2024 If they canβt figure out how to use Kincaid, move him for a piece that they will use. I know they wonβt, but heβs literally just Dawson Knox out there. We already have a Dawson Knox. 1 Quote
Chugga Posted October 6, 2024 Posted October 6, 2024 (edited) There are way more examples than this. Beane has also drafted players that didnβt get utilized at all. Or drafted and poorly rolled out. Knox & Kincaid were supposed to be featured in our new two TE offense and that never happened. Knox was resigned to big money but isnβt used at all. Think about thisβ¦ Knox got big money. Kincaid was big draft capital Logically these guys must be like Gronk and Hernandez back in the day right? Yeah ok Edited October 6, 2024 by Chugga 2 Quote
Mynamemike Posted October 6, 2024 Posted October 6, 2024 Knox, Samuel, Oliver, brown, Von, Daquon, Epenesa, Milano. What do all these guys have in common? They get paid stupid money to eat a bag of ***** or be injured every week. We need to clear house 2 1 Quote
Warriorspikes51 Posted October 6, 2024 Posted October 6, 2024 Knox is a better target than anyone besides Kincaid and Shakir and literally never gets the ball anymore 3 2 Quote

MasterStrategist Posted October 6, 2024 Posted October 6, 2024 Agree. I'm pro/optimistic Bills almost.99% of time. But I'm ready for a new front office and coaching staff. An MVP talent like Josh is a HUGE credit to Beane and staff. But performances like today and last week, I don't know what to say. We are at a proverbial T in the road. Staying with the know OR going a different direction hoping for greener pastures. I think nothing should be done until end of season. But I'm unfortunately in a position of acknowledging change might be needed. Quote

If he was Morris, who is also a pretty decent TE, would be playing. Brady is clueless and the OP is correct. Beane and this coaching staff are not on the same page. Expand Iβve always said I never liked this WR room. If you look at the group on paper they are probably among the worst in football. I donβt think itβs that they arenβt belong utilizedβ¦ they just arenβt very good 1 Quote

You are correct on that. Shakir would be like the best slot WR in the league with Diggs and Davis on the outsides. Instead Shakir is our best WR. Hollins is about 1/4 as good as Davis was and thatβs saying a lot because Davis actually sucked. 1 Quote

And that alone is embarrassing Quote
Beast Posted October 6, 2024 Posted October 6, 2024 Iβm starting to wonder if I really want this group trying to fix the wide receiver room going forward. Iβm leaning no. Allen is close to, if not already, on the second half of his career. You should only get so long to win a championship when you have a chip like Allen. 2 Quote
ngbills Posted October 6, 2024 Posted October 6, 2024 Well it has been debated. Take Josh off this team and what do you have? Most of the high draft picks or big free agent spends have turned out average to bad. Samuel this year looks like the Harty move last year. Coleman and Bishop look ok. Kincaid is there underachieving. Torrance looks to have regressed. Elam canβt get on the field. Itβs the Benford, Shakir, Bernard, Brown, etc late picks. But imagine if some of the $ free agents and early picks were more impactful. Quote
