Beane & the coaches are not on the same page! 😡

Fast forward two years, Beane signs Samuel to a 2 year deal, and they refuse to use him. 
 

Does Beane even talk to the coaches before flushing money down the drain?

They absolutely are on the same page - they do not understand how to evaluate talent on offense.

If they can’t figure out how to use Kincaid, move him for a piece that they will use.

 

I know they won’t, but he’s literally just Dawson Knox out there.   We already have a Dawson Knox.

There are way more examples than this.  Beane has also drafted players that didn’t get utilized at all.  Or drafted and poorly rolled out.  Knox & Kincaid were supposed to be featured in our new two TE offense and that never happened.  Knox was resigned to big money but isn’t used at all.

 

Think about this…

 

Knox got big money.

Kincaid was big draft capital

 

Logically these guys must be like Gronk and Hernandez back in the day right?

Samuel though has been a total disappointment. On that one screen out wide he had, he just ran the wrong way.

Agree.  I'm pro/optimistic Bills almost.99% of time.

 

But I'm ready for a new front office and coaching staff.  

 

An MVP talent like Josh is a HUGE credit to Beane and staff.  But performances like today and last week, I don't know what to say.

 

We are at a proverbial T in the road.  Staying with the know OR going a different direction hoping for greener pastures.

 

I think nothing should be done until end of season.  But I'm unfortunately in a position of acknowledging change might be needed.

Beane makes moves to make this team better. And McD uses guys that COULD be playmakers and makes them complementary football players.

Knox isn’t hurt. If he was Morris, who is also a pretty decent TE, would be playing.

 

Brady is clueless and the OP is correct. Beane and this coaching staff are not on the same page.

I’ve always said I never liked this WR room.  If you look at the group on paper they are probably among the worst in football.  
 

I don’t think it’s that they aren’t belong utilized… they just aren’t very good

No they are terrible. You are correct on that. Shakir would be like the best slot WR in the league with Diggs and Davis on the outsides. Instead Shakir is our best WR. Hollins is about 1/4 as good as Davis was and that’s saying a lot because Davis actually sucked.

This is really beginning to manifest itself 

 

I’m watching Packers and Rams WRs run open all over the place and I’m thinking we have nothing like that.
 

We have MVS and Hollins.  

And that alone is embarrassing

I’m starting to wonder if I really want this group trying to fix the wide receiver room going forward. I’m leaning no. Allen is close to, if not already, on the second half of his career. You should only get so long to win a championship when you have a chip like Allen.

Well it has been debated. Take Josh off this team and what do you have? Most of the high draft picks or big free agent spends have turned out average to bad. Samuel this year looks like the Harty move last year. Coleman and Bishop look ok. Kincaid is there underachieving. Torrance looks to have regressed. Elam can’t get on the field. It’s the Benford, Shakir, Bernard, Brown, etc late picks. But imagine if some of the $ free agents and early picks were more impactful.
