QB Bills Posted October 6 Posted October 6 Guy gets bullrushed again at the worst possible time. Allen has a wide open Samuel there on third down just as he had Shakir last year in the endzone against the Chiefs late in the 4th. Both times the big-mouthed slob gets dogwalked right into the qb he gets paid handsomely to protect and the throw is compromised. Guy is as much of a choker as his head coach. 4 8 1 2 Quote

There was a striking parallel between those two plays, I will admit 1 3 Quote
DeltaDigital Posted October 6 Posted October 6 Excellent post. So tired of this team hyping and drafting and signing weirdos with some goofy shtick. Soft. As. Hell. 1 1 3 2 Quote
SCBills Posted October 6 Posted October 6 Yup. And just like in the Chiefs game, the play was there. Dawkins just gets big boyed into Allen in a pivotal moment that is instrumental to the loss in the finals seconds. 2 Quote
colin Posted October 6 Posted October 6 this team rewards too many locker room guys. dawkins is a good player, but no one is behind him pressuring him. o torrence and brown have been trash in pass pro. having cam lewis, #3, renting aj klien for a guaranteed playoff loss, staying w hyde and poy too long, knox getting that contract, it goes on and on. we just don't ever seem to bring in high ceiling athletes in positions where we have underperforming and over paid vets. keeping spain and letting teller walk. it really seems like the coach's favorites run the roost and they come up short way too much. 5 Quote

Johnnycage46 Posted October 6 Posted October 6 I think beyond Allen there is nobody on this team we couldn't move on from. Obviously not saying we should. But imagine if we had not had Allen these years. We would be awful. Just such a lack of high end talent on this team. 2 Quote
mrags Posted October 6 Posted October 6 Dawkins is a fat tub of goo and he sucks. But he has a cool line, Shno you know everyone loves him 1 1 1 3 1 Quote

The play looked pretty identical. While he still needs to man up there and make that block, I am not going to push too hard on him today because he was banged up during the week and at one point it didn't even look like he was going to play. But yeah..... he needs to hold his block there. Quote

If he doesn't choke there, at the very least this game goes to OT. Quote

I’ve said it before, if Dawkins is your 3rd best OL then your doing fine; if you are expecting him to be your best guy, you are in trouble. 1 Quote
gobills404 Posted October 7 Posted October 7 Lmao Dawkins is about as close as it gets to being the absolute LEAST of our problems. I get it though, the bills lost so we gotta get all hysterical and bust out the pitchforks for every player not named Josh Allen. 1 Quote
LABILLBACKER Posted October 7 Posted October 7 6 hours ago, Coach Tuesday said: Dawkins was garbage today. We're quickly realizing that Torrence is terrible. And Dion is no where as good as his pff rankings. The OL was awful again today and with our non separating wrs, we're so screwed. 1 Quote
BeastMaster Posted October 7 Posted October 7 (edited) If i were Dion Dawkins, I would've made it a point to not get driven back in my QB's lap...especially on crucial downs, and especially not after what Chris Jones did to him in that playoff game Edited October 7 by BeastMaster Quote

Bermuda Triangle Posted October 7 Posted October 7 I think because we're used to watching guys like Epenesa, Rousseau, Basham, etc., we're not used to seeing DEs who are consistently impactful, and who step up in big moments. 1 Quote
Big Blitz Posted October 7 Posted October 7 I don’t know if I agree with this at all. I don’t recall seeing Will Anderson or Danielle Hunter all game. Did they play? I know there were plays Allen was under duress but was that blitzes, from up the middle? I’ll need to see what we got on tape or the folks with time who break it down can show us. But I thought Brown and Dawkins were fine. Quote
