Joe Brady is a marginal step up from his predecessor.  Defense gets a pass because we’re starting our 2nd string.  Josh is not comfortable behind this line, and Kincaid catches like Gabe Davis.

Is he really a step up?

We spent $30M on Curtis Samuel to be a water boy. No dice, try again.

Nobody thought Samuel would be this useless.  It’s unreal how useless he’s been

Can someone explain to me how the bills go from looking like one of the best teams ever in the first 3 games to one of the worst in the league over the past 6 quarters?

Tape of them is out and what they want to do. Cook is still playing well but defenses are solely focused on them and they don’t respect any of the other WRs or TEs.

Do you blame the player or the OC?  He seems to only run one pass play.  The guy can do more.

Look.....Allen is off today so far.

BUT

This is way bigger than Josh Allen.  This is an overall lack of talent problem.  Our WRs STINK.  Outside of Shakir, we have nobody that can get open.  Samuel has been an embarrassment.  Coleman can't separate (every ball he catches is contested).  Hollins is awful.  MVS is a waste of money.  There is absolutely nobody on this team, outside of Allen that any team fears.  Cook is a fine player, but teams are game planning for him.  Kincaid is an amazing talent that Brady has no idea how to use.

To me, this goes a lot deeper than the players.  This is on Beane and the front office.  All of us could see this coming.  They didn't.  Yes, Allen is great.  Maybe the best out there.  But he still needs talent to make plays for him.  I mean, look no further than the other sideline.  Collins is maybe the best WR in the league and that still wasn't good enough for them.  Their WR corps runs 4-5 deep.  Stroud is a good QB.  Maybe even a great QB.  Regardless, that team knew that you have to play to your strength and surrounded him with great weapons.  Not only is the WR group one of the best in the league, but the RB room is solid too.  They're hurt today (thank God, because we would be getting beat even worse than we are), but they do have talent there.

We are just outclassed on every level on offense against most teams outside of QB.  Beane needs to do something.  I know he is limited due to the cap, but we need a WR1 and a WR2.  Shakir is a great slot option and Coleman will make a great 4th WR.  But he needs 2 starting WRs because they are not on this team.  We have no speed and no downfield passing game.  Everything is within 10 yards of the LOS.  That should never happen when Josh Allen is your QB.

Beane has hit on exactly 1 big time, blue chip, all-world player in 7 drafts.

Luckily for him, if you hit on that type of player at QB, it buys a LOT of job security and good will.

But at some point that good will is going to run out. I mean in seven years, we can't find anyone who can disrupt the pass consistently? And it seems like the next best players he HAS found, are either oft-injured or simply don't impact the game on a regular enough basis.

Oh, and the coaching is as bland and milquetoast as the talent is. Not a great recipe for a ring.

The problem is the O line.  And the WRs.  And the TEs can't catch (although Kincaid did get robbed).  And the play calling.  And the blocking scheme which worked until the Texans adjusted.  And and and...

Team is not ready.

For comparison’s sake, that long TD to Collins was complete because the ball had air and it was put over the proper shoulder (left). If it was Josh, it would’ve been thrown flatter and over his right shoulder, a yard or two long, and most here would blame the receiver.

I wonder if no one has ever talked to Josh Allen about when to throw a rainbow pass and how, or if it's just something he refuses to do or if for some reason he's physically incapable of it. But for a quarterback of his talent it's mind-boggling that every throw is just flat

Combine a woeful collection of receivers and Allen's inability to hit the long ball (he overthrew Hollins and underthrew Kincaid) and you have a shitshow of a game. Good thing the Bills play in what is likely the worst division in the NFL.

When a GM uses one of the few bullets left in his chamber (because of his own fault) and wastes it, we blame the GM.

Brady wanted Curtis Samuel who has done absolutely nothing for this team.

All he has really dialed up is behind los stuff for him. He may not be any good, but as an OC I think he needs to get more creative than that.  The guy had over 600 yards the last two seasons. A couple more seasons like that. An 800+ yard season.  He may not be a #1 but surely the guy can do something.

When he does throw down field. Allen misses open receivers.

And Allen’s missed them downfield all year.  MVS was wide open for 2 TDs and Allen didn’t even give him a chance to catch the ball they were so off.

Allen isn’t even having a bad game (outside of that last drive).

He has been:

- Pressured on 80% of his throws.

- Had 4 balls dropped by WR’s. One of them was a TD.

- Has run some awful play calls by Brady.

Every QB starts to press when you have receivers not getting open, not catching when they are open, and linemen not blocking.

The Allen apologists are hilarious. He might not be the problem today but he’s not the solution either
