Why do announcers always talk up home fans as if they are always the best in NFL?

 

How many teams don't have great fans? Is Green Bay not as good as KC? Pittsburgh? Dallas? 

Sure LA and Jacksonville fans are terrible. Bit the other 30 franchises all have great fan bases.

They show all those red clad people in Arrowhead. Can’t imagine what it’s like to be a KC fan. My gosh they just party and hope to get a threepeat.  No pressure with Lombardis in the bag.  Every game for the Chiefs isn’t pretty but they don’t lay down like pansies ever

They get everyone's best shot.  Gotta respect what they're doing.  

 

They're the new Patriots, and their fans are enjoying that.  I'm jealous, but they paid dues and had tons of heartbreak and bad teams for many years.

That exact play was called DPI on 4th down against the Bengals. I know it makes no difference. Just saying.

Saw DPI extensively softer in the Bengals/Chiefs game and they called it but not there?
