If he had a career with McVay or Shannahan, guys who were searching for a QB during his Cleveland years he would be a unanimous stalwart in the top 5 talk.

 

At his best, Mayfield does a very good Drew Brees impersonation. He throws a tight spiral and has a live and accurate arm for a guy his size.

Lavonte David is the archetype for the modern day off the ball linebacker and one of the first to move the position away from the "plugger" or "stack and shed" linebacker. He had the athleticism and instincts to defeat the play without having to take on offensive linemen.

 

Although I agree he's a future Hall of Famer, he's not Tampa Bay's greatest weakside linebacker... that distinction still belongs to Hall of Famer Derrick Brooks (14 seasons, 11 Pro Bowls, 5 time First-Team All Pro, Defensive POTY).

The Falcons lockeroom acted like they just won Super Bowl 60.  There will be an emotional letdown next week when they go to Carolina.  It’s how the NFL works

If the MLB game ended, as you say, when MikePJ stopped posting about it on the TSW football board, that is super odd… but does that necessitate spamming the football threads for the next month about every MLB playoff game? Also the commentary could’ve just as easily been dropped into fandom seppuku or the Spags JETS thread or why not even the dedicated MLB board here.
