Maybe the league has decided to position Josh to win an MVP.  Finally.  It takes a while for the MVP choice to settle in but once it does it's hard to dislodge it.  It was clear by the 3/4 point of last season that Jackson was going to be MVP, as long as he didn't totally screw up, and he never did that.

Darnold and Josh became friends when both worked with Jordan Palmer in one off-season.  I think they shared a house in California.  Wouldn't it be a kick in the pants if Darnold steps in and swipes Josh's MVP award?
