DapperCam Posted October 4 Posted October 4 Hamlin is just way too slow and I think a touch tentative. He just hasn’t been picked on much yet because it’s much easier to pick on the LBers and nickel corner who are also bad (much higher percentage plays passing around the LOS). Rapp is who is. A heat seeking missile that flies around with reckless abandon. He overpursues and gets out of position, but at least he’s in the play. Hamlin will be replaced by Bishop, and I’m assuming that was the plan from the start until Bishop got hurt. 1 Quote

If Tua were still playing as he was in the Bills game, the Fins are a good team. And the Cards have played a damn tough schedule, Bills, Lions and Commanders so far, they don't look good but probably not that bad either. 19 hours ago, pennstate10 said: Hamlin , Rapp, and Lewis are all below average. Those numbers don’t address the horrendous run support in Baltimore game. I also think that when they play a good pass attack, their coverage deficiencies will show. Baltimore really did run all over us, but as Joe Marino said, they were playing light boxes nearly the whole game. That was nuts. They weren't putting the players in position to succeed, which they did own up to after the game. Edited October 4 by Thurman#1 1 Quote

We have been spoiled by such elite safety play the last 7 years, but in reality, Hamlin and Rapp have been good. I'd love to see more impact plays, but the bigger issue has been backups at LB I'd rather see Edwards and Rapp. 1 Quote
