I wondered if on the all 22, can you see who was the target? Was he open?

the broadcast never showed what the receivers were doing and if he had gotten the pass off, how did it look downfield?

thanks for any reviews.

the play is drawn up for Hollins. Coleman is running a dig to hold the other safety. allen is supposed to receive a pitch behind the LOS from Samuel, roll to his right and then throw a 50 yard post across his body to Mack Hollins. yes an actual NFL OC drew up this play

That was a terrible call to begin with, but multiple whiffs by O linemen made things even worse. If anyone had actually blocked their assignment, Josh would have been right back in the pocket instead of running for his life to his left.

Look at all the OL standing there with no one to block.

it wasn't a flea flicker and Hollins beat his guy inside and was past the safety so theoretically he would have thrown that to the sideline in the endzone to Hollins.

Thanks as I just read this and it remedies nothing like a flea flicker. For the OP, a flea flicker is simply you hand off to Cook as an example, he pitches back to Josh, and Josh nails one to Coleman or Shakir downfield.  They are rarely tried in todays NFL as it doesn’t work with NFL speed.

Samuel shouldn't have pitched it imo.  Just felt like the lineman hit the mesh point where the pitch or handoff is supposed to occur, so keep or pitch he's following the ball, and pitching just exposes you to a turnover which happened.
