Let’s not forget 2019 when Trump took funds from FEMA as well, “ In late July, President Donald Trump's administration informed Congress of its decision to reprogram $271 million from federal agencies, including $155 million from FEMA, in order to finance the effort to return undocumented migrants to Mexico“ 1 2 1

You have to love it! The 2019 defunding was good to them because it meant they got to be horrible to brown people. 2 1 1 1

In 2020, Trump netted 250,000 votes from area affected by Helene. If he can only net 175,000 votes this year due to low turnout and Harris performs as good as Biden in 2020, Harris will win North Carolina due to the Hurricane alone. 2

The state is seeing how pathetic the federal response is, in real time. 1

Republicans try passing laws to have voter suppression. Democrats get Gods help sending a hurricane to suppress Republican votes in rural NC. 1

So if we throw more money at it.. give them more control. What's the DHS current budget? Eff. I'm old enough to remember prior to 2003, when that agency didn't cost anything 1

Irv Posted October 3 Posted October 3 Demented Biden and Cumala botch another thing. Wars everywhere, inflation, high prices on everything, overrun border, out-of-control crime. Now they can't help our own citizens during a disaster because they wasted money on rapists and murders to scratch out a few more votes. Disgraceful. What a mess. 1 1 1

K D Posted October 3 Posted October 3 Anyone with a family knows that $750 won't get you much of anything anymore in Kamala's America. I can go out for groceries and get gas for my car and spend close to that. Now imagine doing that but then not having a home to drive back to. What a slap in the face. Not sure how anyone in Georgia or the Carolinas can vote for Kamala after this 2
